Lloyd didn't mind how she had said what she did. He only gave the kind smile that would welcome her as she was by his side. The scent of the woods were just as hearty yet what would he hunger but the friendship he was afraid of losing. Which is why he returned. Sweeping his tail back and forth with their pace that they walked. It was fine she still did not mention her name. It was her comfort that mattered more. Though she may have seemed to be quite emotional for the past few minutes he would bite at random bugs that floated towards him. It was dopey but a chance to make her laugh he thought. Though he then caught a glimpse at her eye and made the most sheepish look he had ever made. "Tell me if this sounds cliche, but I think this is when I ask you about your background to how you became the pale and fragile star on the lake I saw tonight." With that he smirked but moved his head to the side to 'accidentally' bonk the side of her head as if he was about to fall over. He wasn't, the trail path was too smooth with dried mud and leaves. He wanted to stick his tongue out but he managed to just be quiet long enough for her to speak to him at least. "If you ask me- I think it's a comet when a star cries. Two-leggers call a falling star of which they wish upon." Lloyd bit at her hair of which would swat at his face randomly though he was only having fun. Though becoming sober, that sheepish grin returned. "I made a wish when I first saw you- but if I told you... my heart would be at utter turmoil." He laughed and continued, watching the trees pass by- they always gave off their rusted scent. Dead, alive, fresher than fresh- it was comforting.

Flossy jolted slightly when she realized that here she was, walking down a path with a stallion that she had funny (in a good way) feelings for and the poor thing probably didn’t even have half of a clue as to what to call her. Part of her mind started to figure that the reason he was saying all of the really nice things to her was because that was much nicer than pointing out her stupidity and asking for a name. The snap of his white teeth did in fact make her smile and part of her again was curious.. Why would he be so nice to her? She’d do the same things for him if Lloyd were hurting but why her? Smiling softly in the moonlight, Flossy chuckled and bravely took a chomp at the air in return before speaking to him softly, “I did not know your tastes ran to such unusual lengths… Bugs have much protein I guess?” Flossy knew it was “rude” to laugh at your own joke but she couldn’t help herself and a soft peal of giggles flowed from her. More than one of the weak giggles, but nowhere near her usual explosive laugh. When Lloyd looked like he was going to fall she flinched and got ready to help if need be then smiled when he didn’t. The bully was teasing her! She nudged his neck back in return, trying not to sneak a smell just to see what he was really like. Mamma would probably call that rude. Her bright green eyes took on a more serious note and the voice that answered had a much much more adult ring to it, “I am CandiFloss, and I want to know what you wish for… please?”

While they walked she seemed to respond to him just in the most unusual way yet he didn't mind. It was better than seeing her in tears. He moved in and whispered as if it was a honest childish secret. "I was eating bugs? I thought we were just hitting into some 'trailkill.'" With that he gave a deep chuckle, and raced up further to see if she would catch up to him. A short branch leaned almost like a white-bark tree would. Only it was a fruit tree, delightfully filled with apples. Though he saw something else mingled in vines that climbed the tree. Plump purple berries that bunched together-- Black berries. Some were lightly red with green. Only problem was the thorns that would vine with the plant. He'd walk around the tree to see if there was a way beside climbing the low leaning branch that was nearly only three feet till it descended higher. Though that wasn't much of a task as it only reached six feet in height. "I guess we're both not as superstitious as two-leggers." He laughed to himself. "I wish that I'd never lose site again of that shooting star." He said calmly once he was up on the middle of the branch using his tail and wings to balance him. One leg would lean down as to hold close to the branch, his tail wrapped around the branch. The wings would clutter lowly and soon as she knew it she saw him leaning his neck to snag a whole cluster of them by a stem close to him. He then carefully stood up and jumped off, his wings opening into a short glide behind her. Still with the branch of berries in his mouth, he dragged them with him for he searched for a bunch of ferns. Placing the ferns down before CandiFloss with a bunch of those berries placed as if it was a dish. "Well, Miss Floss, I'm not sure how I can make it happen but I suppose dinner would be a start?" That sheepish look returned to him, but he walked towards the tree again. With a rear he smacked a few apples onto the ground with caution. They would shed onto the grass with ease but he made sure they didn't get bruised. He moved them around with his maw as if he was playing with a toy till they reached the ferns.

Trailkill? Now what on earth was that? Flossy laughed again and her step was beginning to gather up more of it’s usual bounce. Of course, just because she had a bouncing step now didn’t mean she full understood what was going on between the two of them, nor was the silly mare really all that positive that nice things he said were true. If he said a few more her mind would be made up and heaven help the stallion, he’d have a partner for life if he willed it or not. Blinking with a mix of curiosity and then confusion as he moved away from her to charge forward, Flossy ended up shooting way ahead to end up beside him again then behind him as he went up to the tree with the pretty purple berries. They were indeed pretty and also looked so very ripe. She’d never had them though because by the time they were low enough to eat they usually were in the condition known to her as, “Ewgod, ohnotthem.” (rotten.) Her smile froze on her face as she watched him. Even though the wings on him were probably much stronger than what the task required, Floss held her breathe and waited for him to come down from there, “Oh.. They’re lovely.” Wait.. He wasn’t done being nice to her? Soon enough a few apples were right beside the feast. Batting her eyelashes up at him with soft femininity that came from within and lacked in artifice Flossy spoke, “You.. Got all of this for me? Or are you going to join me.. Please?” Her giggles had started to echo in the woods moments before when he had been batting the apples about. The poor things rolled to and fro like they’d been nothing more than toys. Hopefully they weren’t being bruised up. Although in all honesty right now she probably could be served a plate of rocks and mud and Floss would bite into them joy. After she’d spit them out the goofy mare was liable to try a second bite just to not offend the chef. Their dinner did look rather yummy, but Flossy was feeling almost too distracted to truly focus on the food in front of her. Why did HE have to look so yummy?

Lloyd laughed with a kind chortle. She was as he figured. Shy to eat food in front of him? Shaking his head he took a berry for himself upon his maw and bounced it into the air. It fell down into his mouth with a snap. Enjoying the berry he looked to her with a quirked brow, somewhat challenging her to do the same. "Sure it's not mannerly but..." Another plop, and he lifted two berries to test it out. One higher than the other. He pretended like he didn't know what he was doing. Though caught the last berry. Simple tricks a foal would do if bored enough. Like a game of soloed ping-pong. Trying three though, as much as he tried to show off, the third one bounced off of his chin. Missed. "Hmm... I believe I lost for now unless you can't do any better!" He laughed.

Flossy blinked at him as he laughed before pawing at the ground for just a moment. What on earth was he laughing about? When he took a bit of the fruit she began to nibble on a tart apple, taking small bites in case he spoke to her. Once she had flicked apples all over Lovey when her mamma had asked her something and without thinking she’d gone into a full on conversation with a whole apple rolling inher mouth. Oi. Her eyes widened as he played the games with the berries. How could he know? That amused her to no end when she had the ability to play, but once again she was an “adult” and “adults” didn’t do that. Looking at Lloyd with near adoration, Flossy went back to her apple to be sure he didn’t catch her looking so.. Well, stupidly female. Ohh.. A challenge huh? Raising her eyes with her neck still lowered, Flossy tried to flirt as best she could, “Are you saying I am more talented than you at skills that involve my mouth?” How ridiculous she probably sounded to him…
