Isi carefully trained his eyes on his brother, watching his every movement as he delicately sat himself nearby on a stool on the opposite side of the island. He slipped his arms out of his crutches and asked softly, "You didn't hurt yourself right?" It as a stupid question to ask, but Isi felt like it needed to be said. He knew that Aphi wasn't physically hurt, for he didn't see any blood on the young chef's clothes, nor did he see a grimace flash over the young man's face. But maybe...Aphi was hurting somewhere else, somewhere deep inside and maybe Isi could help...? But even that, Isi thought, was stupid. At this point in time, Isi doubted that Aphi would dare let him know, especially in this state and Isi felt bad about it. He wanted to help, but he wouldn't press unless Isi knew it had to be done. This wasn't one of those situations. Isi would have to wait until Aphi came to him for help. If he wanted it, he would ask. That's all Isi had to wait for: a single word.

Aphismet sighed and smiled shyly. He didn't want to worry his brother, and he wasn't ready to talk about anything, really... "No, I didn't hurt myself. I just dropped it, that's all. It's okay." He smiled sheepishly over at the younger Delaran. "It's okay."
And he set himself to the task of making breakfast.
