XxOmega DragonxX Dr. Ghost just an intro of one song? or riffs here and there of different ones? no, pretty much all he knows is a few intros of songs like Ironman, and Smoke on the Water and I think Sandman, so yeah pretty much the intros that everyone knows xd Slash " I feel cheesy, EVERYONE knows how to play Smoke on the Water" (not sure what issue of Guitar World its in)

I hate people like that. They keep boosting their ego on something thats not even there. Those people should be given an acoustic guitar, then be told they can't get an electric until they can play that acoustic good. Which is what happened to me, now I'm able to play anything from wicked fast death metal to soft slow blues on my acoustic... in less in then a year. Now I'm getting a Epi les paul studio for christmas ^.^ But yeah, I like people to have a guitar that matches their playing skill, then there would be peace in the world.

The day before winter break there was this kid who brought his guitar and played it during lunch. It was a cheap looking acoutic guitar and all the kid played were basic chords. And he was all looking around to see if anyone was listening or looking and no one was, so i started laughing. My friend told me to show him off but i decided not too because it was too loud and i didn't want to do that to him.
Some people in my school are actually really good though. i saw one guy shredding in the stairway during passing time. he had an amp, some pedals, and his guitar.. during passing time..
My friend has like 7 guitars and three of them are actually decent but he kind of sucks. We both started lessons at the same time but his guitar teacher sucked. He didn't even teach my friend how to read notes and he didn't tell him to do any excercises nd stuff he just taught him some wack songs.

Y'know whats worse are the people that try to look the part. here's what I mean- one time I was sitting there playing in this designated area. And this guy came strutting up, all punked out, green mohawk, piercings, ripped up clothes, knee high pleather boots, and the eyeliner. He ploped his amp down which was covered in stickers and some writing with marker or something thing on it. gutiar all dented, scratched and stickered up as well and I thought " oh man this must be a dude that does alot of gigs!" And when he finally gets set up and all- he struggled to get his first clean powerchord out. from there it was just painful for anyone within hearing range. I told him I'd be embarassed if I were him, but I don't think he got it.
Heres a question for ya..My guitar isn't all shiney new or glossy, has dents, and other ....asthetic discrepancies...but is it weird that I don't like anyone to touch my guitar? My heart sinks I stop breathing and freeze up altogether when I see someone pick up my guitar.

Just before the Christmas break, a person brought his guitar... And he was good! ... If you wanna brag, at least, play some songs!!! For me, guitar is not for bragging; it's just a good hobby... It's fun, and funnier around a firecamp!

XxOmega DragonxX Yeah, so I was in science class today and we didnt have to do anything today because we had a PLAN test today, but anyway, this guy brought his guitar to class and was showing it off. It was a Dean Dimebag Baby ML, y'know, nothing special. but he was all "hey everybody, check out my badass guitar" well, I started talking to him an I asked him if he could play very well, and he replied "well I know a couple of songs, mabey 3 or 4, I can play the first part of Ironman" well I started talking to him and he claimed to have a Dimebag Razorback and a Flying V. So, He has all these AWSOME guitars (or so he says) and he doesnt even play guitar. so, does anyone else here know anyone like that? OMG YEAH! My friend Tyler always liked rap. Then i started to play guitar, then he started to play and his mom went and bought him a stratocaster and he cant even play 1 song. He said "I only have a guitar just to say i play so the ladies think im cool" BTW. I have a Dean Razorback DB. Its Metallic red

My friend's the exact opposite. He knows like 20 popular songs with the solos and everything but he never likes playing for people and he has one guitar.
