He wasnt a stupid man he knew what was going on.
"YOU WERE THERE THAT NIGHT WERNT YOU!" he yelled
"OH HELL NO...i dont care how low on men i am i aint going to have to write a ******** report on how some soldier had a breakdown and hurt herself and have to pay the medical bills.....you go home your on stress leave too.....Well what are you waiting for PISS OFF" the Chief was also not one to mind his tung.

Rose cringed as he began to yell. "It's not like I could go suicidal!" Realizing she just back talked him she bowed her head in respect. "Yes sir. Right away sir." She turned and walked down the hall. The last thing she needed was to be fired.

He wasnt sure who she was talking about....did she mean the cultists? they were dead....they killed themselves.....it was then that he remembered his 'dreams' the horrific creatures that lurked around corners....the things he knew were there...but saw very rarely..could she see them too?

"Oh I thought..." She was unsure what to say next. What if he didn't see the other people? What if it was a figment of her imagination. "After what happened in the hall, I thought you could well... See people that weren't really there... I guess you can't."

Nodding her head she got into the car. Rose didn't want to press the matters any further.

"Well we should get going then.." he said as he started the car.
They were driving along. The dark roads lit up by his head lights.
The street lights didnt seem to be working on this road it made him feel jumpy.
"maybe we should go another way?" he said taking his eyes of the road to look at her for just a second.
He looked back at the road it was completely bare of other cars.
Then he heard Rose scream as a man suddenly appeared in the middle of the road.
Michael swerved the car and hit the breaks. The car turned tightly and crashed into a street light on the side of the road.
He shook his head to regain composure.
"s**t!! are you ok?" he asked Rose

Rose barely heard him. Instead, she had turned all the way around in her seat and was looking back. She hardly noticed the fact they crashed into a street light. Instead her mind was somewhere else.
The man that was there disappeared and instead was replaced in her mind with the two cloaked figures. The tallest twirled a scythe in it's hands as the second slowly followed. They inched closer and closer towards the car.

"Come on we have to get out of this thing" he said while kicking of the car door. the car was totally recked. the front of the car was now just a squashed mess. there was no way he would be able to get this fixed.
"s**t!" he yelled as he inspected the damage.
he turned around trying to find the man who had ran him off the road.
"God damb it the basterd must have run away" he yelled again.
he looked back to rose.
she was looking very worried.
