'Fleshlings?' Tovi thought to himself. 'Interesting term.' Eyes shining with curiosity, he watched Brasa pick up the book, then set it down as it smoked. His lips curved softly downward and he bit his lip. "Is there anything I could do to help?" He seemed to be asking both the headmaster and Brasa; on his own, he was at a loss for ideas.

The headmaster smiled at him. "If you've time, Young Tovi, I believe that you could turn the pages for our Elemental here."

Tovi laughed nervously at himself and rubbed the back of his neck, cheeks turning pink. 'You think too hard, Silly Tovi,' he thought, pushing aside the scenarios that had begun to pop up in his head. Stepping forward, he opened the book for Brasa and nodded respectfully to her.

She smiled at him before flicking a flame at the Headmaster. "I believe that is settled." She said to him. The headmaster shook his head before leaving. The little flame followed the male out the door before hovering near Tovi's left ear.
"Do you have earth or air oriented classes?" She asked him. The flame whispered into his ear, acting as her mouth. Another small flame broke off her hair and went to hover near the book. Without the heat of her body, it didn't start to smoke.

Tovi nodded quietly. "Here..." He found a page with mostly earth classes to start. "These ones..." Running a hand through his hair, he silently stood and waited until she needed him to flip through the book again.

She looked over the courses but they were more history based courses. "More practical magic preferably." She didn't actually move to look at the pages, her little flame was doing that for her. She wondered if it disturbed him to see her stare.

Nodding slightly, Tovi found another page for Brasa to look over. His teal eyes searched her face, wondering why she wasn't even moving to look. After a moment, he realized the tiny flame that was dancing around the book must be seeing for her. 'How odd,' he thought to himself. 'Difficult to imagine being able to do something like that...'

"The typology of Air and the typology of Earth both fit my requirements." She wondered how she would write any papers for any classes. "A musical class for bass or percussion instruments would be prudent. An advanced class for fire magic." She tilted her head at him. And the little flame went to hover above his nose
"What do you take?"

"I take Ice technique, and Fire technique. I'm in my second year of martial arts, I've worked my way up to a senior green belt..." Tovi bit his lip slightly. "And jazz band, I play alto saxophone." Nodding a bit, he tilted his head. "This year I've opted to try out a creative writing class as well, but I'm not sure how well that's going to go over." He laughed softly, in slight nervousness, and his cheeks turned a gentle pink.

Brasa tilted her head to the side. "Never really needed a combat discipline, but then, considering how hard it is to hurt my flesh, understandable. I think Typology of Air and Earth, Advanced Typology of Fire, Fire technique, something with the thunder drum. I'd join you in your writing class, but paper does not like me." She blew a smoke ring, utterly amused at the fact burning air could do it if she tried.
"Its confining in here. So many plant corpses. Where do you stay? I've never seen a fleshling feed. What do you eat?" Brasa knew she was probably being rude, but she was interested, and she had been honest when she said she was the only one on Mt Leeran to want to travel.

"That does make sense..." Tovi stated quietly, biting his lip. He listened to her list of questions and nodded slightly.
"Most students stay in dorms on campus, and I opted for that because it's more... um... cost-effective, but I'm sort of a loner on the edge of the grounds." He frowned a bit and tried to see how to sum up his diet. "Well. Personally I usually eat fruits, with a few vegetables, and lots of baked goods. My mom bakes like a maniac, so I'm kind of addicted to the stuff. And I'm not that big a fan of meat, but I'll eat chicken if it's cooked right and has the right amount of garlic." Did that cover it? Well, it would do for now. "I'm a lot healthier than most fleshlings, I think. There's a lot of junk foods that supply a lot of sugar but absolutely no nutrition value... and nothing in the world beats a mother's home bakery. Ever."

Brasa smiled at him, though she had no idea what a bakery was. There were two things she ate. Air for life and rocks for size. She was content for her size though, and hadn't eaten any in decades.
"Show me? I'd like to see how a fleshling lives." She asked, though it sounded like a command. It was force of habit. Her not fully sentient elemental tribe members didn't respond well to questions. They just didn't know how to answer them. "Its interesting, does the sky never blacken with ash?" She asked, partially in thought. She hadn't seen any volcano's in the area.

"Hmm. Alright, I guess. Just try not to torch my dorm..." He turned and began to walk from the room, assuming she would follow. "I've never seen the sky do so, no. I don't think we have active volcanoes around." His bare feet carried him carefully to the edge of the school grounds, and he'd glance back on occasion to make sure Brasa was still with him.
"Should I just bring some stuff outside, or d'you think you'd be fine coming in?" he asked quietly, uncertain. A crimson stain spread rapidly across his fair cheeks.

Brasa had followed him outside and to his dorm. She ignored Luft's presence for the moment. She'd greet the fire falcon later. "Anything flamable that's above five feet you might want to move. But I can just peek my head in the door."
She thought of a better idea, and rather than to wait, she set to Flamelets to be her eyes for her, thier flames cool enough not to ignit things.
