well maybe its because of with marching band where you practically spend all your time with people in band and because you have the love for music in common

2 tenor saxes/1 assist. d.m, 1 d.m
alto sax
baritone
trombone/drum major
2 trumpets
and a tuba...........

I don't know why band nerds date other band nerds. Maybe it's because we have a passion for music. Maybe it's because we have a passion for hating football players. Who knows.
I am dating a sax right now. Oh my god, he is fine whee . I think it's because we got to know each other through music. It's some sort of connection, I guess.
And two reasons NOT to have a band relationship: You get crucified by band peers and you can't sit together on the bus sad

I have... it isnt going to work out though... i dont think. but the other trumpet player next to me had sex wtih a flute player... and the school found out and now she is going to court... they are 13... so am i, that explains why im next to him. biggrin

It is because you spend almost all your time with the people in band. band trips, band camp, band practice, ect so you tend to like you fellow band members more because you know them more.

besides that if you date an older guy/girl and your both in band thats like the only class you have with them and you want to be with them thats how it was for me and my ex hes a junior and im a freshman im smarter than him so i have honors which prevented me from getting theater with him and our relationship ended in disaster(i was gonna push him down the bleachers for all the crap he was giving me but i would have hurt other band members cause they were crappy bleachers that were falling apart) and thats not the only band relationship ive seen end bad come to think of it i dont think ive seen one end well

yea all the above posts are true.
and all the people I was EVER attracted to were in band.
i know~!
but then, band is pretty large and you spend a lot of time with people in band.

Because we spend way to much time together (bus, practise, concerts, randomly playing in each others basements, waiting for drives after practise, carpooling, practising at lunch,) and have stuff in common. i've crushed on an alto plyer from my school, a contraalto clarinet from another school, and currently a flautist from my school.
and we all know that band kids are cooler than everyone else and all think the same (disturbing) way.
