Dreamy-girl99 ChibiChels erm... okay.. it's called Always, Never... When I close my eyes You're there, waiting Always criticizing Always Each mistake I make You laugh at me Never letting me forget Never Why do you do this? You never leave me alone Always mocking and smirking Always Those eyes that look into mine I see them everyday Those eyes just like mine, never blinking Never Why can't you leave? I've begged you to go You just stare unlbinking and say: "Always here, never leaving" I wrote it about the subconscious part of you... erm yeah I a little nervous. I don't usually let others besides my friends read my poetry.. sweatdrop Oooh your good, I loved it, please post more if you have some, I'm still writing a few 4laugh eek erm... you liked it... and yeah I have more All I do anymore is write poetry..... sweatdrop

my fav quote is from Gone With the Wind
"No, I dont think I will kiss you kissing and badly. That's what's wrong with you. You should be kissed and often and by someone that knows how!" -Rhent Butler

well, here goes nothin'..this is a poem i wrote..*really nervous* not my best, but still...
You told me you loved me And like a fool, I fell for it I trusted you with who I was And all that I believed They told me the truth about you They warned me to stay away But I didn't care to be told I just wanted you to hold me And make everything alright But it didn't turn out so well It was everything and nothing My handsome prince went far away And showed me dark reality This fairy tale and all I dreamed Was suddenly taken away A nightmare that I couldn't escape Where was I suppose to turn? How was I supposed to survive, When the very air I breathed Was full of the tears That I couldn't stop crying? I gave you what you wanted All that you asked of me But what about what I wanted? A home, a life, a love to last forever? It seems as if there's nothing left Only the pieces you scattered When you left me crying for something more I badly want to tell you down To beg you to rot in hell But you aren't worth the breath it would take To say the words that scream in my heart You stole my soul when you walked away And left me lonely, angry, afraid But after all the restless nights The broken tears, and yearning arms Time's gone by and the tears have stopped So take your selfish, vainful love Cuz now i know i'll be okay

I was reading Baroness Orczy's I Will Repay just now and found the following excerpt from the end of chapter eight to be rather appealing:
Love, the great, the strong, the conquering god --- Love that subdues a world, and rides roughshod over principle, virtue, tradition, over home, kindred, and religion -- what cares he for the easy conquest of the pathetic being, who appeals to his sympathy?
Love means equality -- the same height of heroism or of sin. When Love stoops to pity, he has ceased to soar in the boundless space, that rarefied atmosphere wherein man feels himself made at last truly in the image of God.

"When one door closes another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us." One of my favorite quotes. I'm not sure who it's by but I like it.
