'Smooth Kenji, nice way to blurt out your feelings..he's going to hate me for sure..' He thought as he nodded in responce to Fate, sitting back down quietly.

Fate returned the smile and lay his head on Kenji's shoulder testing to see if it felt strange... It did but it didn't, he wondered if this was making Kenji uncomfortable and thought of pulling away.

Kenji rested his cheek gentily on Fates head and closed his eyes, to him it felt right but he wasen't so sure on how Fate thought of it.

Fate shifted a small bit but remained still, it felt nice with that underlying weirdness... He could fall asleep if he remained like this for too long.

He remained scilent as he slowly slipped into his own throughts, and it seemed like he was somewhere other then the pound..a good, strange feeling he never felt before.

Fate had drifted off to a slight sleep after a while, unaware that he was still practically laying on Kenji.

Kenji softly smirked as he looked down at Fate, noticing he was sleeping Kenji softly set him down on the couch and covered him with a blanket before sitting in a chair.

Fate curled up when he was asleep the way he usually did; he snoozed away occasionally shifting a bit.

Kenji looked out the window of the pound and softly sighed all the while mentaly slapping himself for expressing his feelings, glancing at Fate and softly smiled as he noticed how tired he must have been.

Fate set up after 5 or so minutes of rest and yawned looking over to Kenji... "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep like that... It's a bad habit of mine."

"Its not that I was tired, its more like I can randomly fall asleep anywhere and at any time." Fate sighed looking away from Kenji.. It felt awkward now...Thankfully for Fate Tara was making her way back over with a new little kitty at her side looking around fearfully. "Fate, meet your new sister!" The little girl cling-ed to Tara's leg without looking at Kenji or Fate."Where did you find her?!" "She was playing with Lianme and said she didn't have a mother or father!" Tara retorted looking over to Kenji then back to Fate. "Did I interrupt something by any chance?"
