a new question!

how is the best way for us as guys to show you as girls that we care about you?

Hug us, open doors for us, do nice stuff for us, and basically let us know that you care about us.

so we don't need to say it, we just show it by the things we do, right?

question!
why do most girls not like icky stuff such as mud and bugs and spiders?
i love that stuff!

note: boy or girl, the stuff that was in ammon's fridge is horrifying... 3nodding

Not all girls hate bugs, spiders and mud. Take me for instance; I loathe spiders - spiders are creepy - hello, they have EIGHT legs, its not natural! *shudders* Bugs are okay - as long as they aren't on me. But mud... I love mud! Story time! In sixth grade my class did this Outdoor School thing were you go to a camp for week instead of school, and one day we were studying erosion. For 10 minutes after the lesson, you were supose to sit and reflect on what you learned. Well, I got to sit in the mud. Because I fell in it. But it was fun! Anyway, most girls don't like mud because they hate getting dirty. Lets face it - advertising and society today don't allow for dirt because its not "cool".

how true girl. As for you question ammon, you have never met me or my friend Joce have you? Her nickname Miss Piggy is that for a reason xd Heck, I love bugs, well except ants, I hate ants, but other bugs are cool. Escpecially spiders (unless they're dead in your hair xp ) I mean I jump in puddles and stuff all the time!!

Right. Basically, just be a gentleman. Girls love that.

I always try to be a gentleman. I always open doors, ladies first, and reprimand guys for using foul language, "Especially in front of the ladies!!!" I never really get much from it though..... but I always feel good about doing it. biggrin cool

There seems to be quite a few great guys here with problems telling the girl how they feel. I'll see if I can clear it up
If you like her:
1. Be a gentleman, suprise her, do anything to show you care etc. I'm sure that you know all of this. Any litte thing that you can do gains you tons of points.
2. TELL HER! We don't read minds. Even if we know that you like us we still prefer to have you make the first move. I know it's not fair, but that's just how it is. Plus if you say it just right the results might suprise you. If she doesn't like you yet and you think there's no hope, you might want to tell her anyways becase:
a. you'll catch her off guard, before she's already figured out that you like her and classified you as "just a friend"
b. It's flattering, we like to be flattered, if you flatter her enough you might get lucky.

If you are in the oh so painful zone of "just friends" never fear! There is hope. Odds are that you care about her much more than whatever jock she happens to be oogling at the moment. If she's smart she'll realize that, if you help her understand how much you like her.
She probably already knows that you like her, that's why she keeps saying things like "You're such a great friend" or "I'm so lucky to have a friend like you." Hurts doesn't it? Tell her, tell her directly, face to face, in no uncertain terms. Being timid is possibly what got you into this whole situation. Dont' say "Would you like to go to the movies as friends?" She'll see right through that, she isn't dumb. Just ask "Would you like to *insert an activity that involves her favorite hobby* on *a convenient date, plan all of this in advance so that your first date won't fall apart before it's even started* ?"
She'll most likely tell you " I don't know, I just want to be friends..." This is either the truth or a straight out rejection. If it's a rejection, then you probably ween't very good friends to begin with. If it's the truth then she's undecided. That's when you should say something like "I already like you more than a friend *tell her how much you like her, if you're shy about this then you're ruining your chances with her*, give me a chance and if things don't work out then we can still be frinds I promise."
repeat as necessary, be persisitent, it might not work the first time. Show her that you think she's worht the effort.

This will be very difficult for most of you, especially if you're shy. Just take a deep breath. Tell yourself that she's worth the risk. This won't be easy, but it will work (unless she's already decided that she'll never ever ever date you in a million years and she doesn't like you much as a friend either.) But if you are actually good friends this will work.

Here here!!
Although in the second post I don't agree with it all...
I do think that telling her is a good idea, no hinting, and even when you're "just a friend" it's a good idea to stick around. But I don't think you should be too persistant with her, especially if you're shy. It would be terrible if she were to fall for you because you were persistant (or not) and then you changed all of a sudden... I think that you should be yourself, if that doesn't work, then she's not for you.
And good luck to all you guys out there! I know she's out there somewhere!

Oh so true! ^^ It makes me think of one of my fav movie/mini-series quotes: "Flattery will get you everything!"

ok, sorry i haven't been on for a while, but ive been really busy!! so here i go...

1) i dont mind the mud! Spiders are ok if they are outside, its when they are in my bedroom that scares me!! Other bugs are mostly just around to annoy us, aka flies!!!!

2) thanx for all the input!!! im not 16 yet, but i can still use some advice!
