They "remember" singular details. Not their entire life.
I don't think they could possibly remember their entire life, I can't even remember the entire life I'm living now! Ususally they remember things that were very meaningfull or traumatic, like their death.
See, this is another twitch of my bullshit metre. How can they remember their death when death is characterised by the shutting down of the brain? If you're going to not remember something, it has to be dying.
Also, I'm not asking them to remember their whole life. Just more than one or two moments, moments that can be proven empirically. Which I have never seen.
