This already happened in the War of 1812. The bloody British got as far as New Orleans, they were so close to victory they could taste it. But they got beat like drums AGAIN! By a bunch of backwood "rednecks" and "rabble" AGAIN! The British lost over 2000 of their 10000 forces. The Americans lost 71!
Johnny Horton:
In 1814 we took a little trip Along with Colonel Jackson down the mighty Mississip We took a little bacon and we took a little beans And they caught the bloody British in the town of New Orleans.
(chorus) We fired our guns and the British kept a comin' There wasn't as many as there was a while ago We fired once more and then they got to runnin' Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico!
We looked down the river and we seen the British come And there must've been a hundred of 'em beatin' on the drums They stepped so high and they made their bugles ring We stood behind our cotton bails and didn't say a thing!
(chorus) We fired our guns and the British kept a comin' There wasn't as many as there was a while ago We fired once more and then they got to runnin' Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico!
Old Hickory said we could take 'em by surprise If we didn't fire the muskets till we looked 'em in the eyes We held our fire 'till we seen their faces well Then we opened up the squirrel guns and really gave 'em... Well!
(chorus) We fired our guns and the British kept a comin' There wasn't as many as there was a while ago We fired once more and then they got to runnin' Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico!
(second chorus) Yeah they ran through the briars and they ran through the brambles And they ran through the bushes where a rabbit couldn't go They ran so fast that the hounds couldn't catch 'em Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico!
We fired our cannon till the barrel melted down So we grabbed an alligator and we pulled another round We filled his head with cannonballs and powdered his behind And when they touched the powder off, the gator lost his mind!

Listo Quote: Lets not forget about securing massive amounts of oil! biggrin I didn't forget about it, because it's a complete and total load of BS! Actually. It is true. If you don't believe it, then look it up on the internet. The News lies. They always have, and always will. They only tell you what the government wants you to hear! They lie! I hate the government! Go anarchy!

You know, anarchy is truly an impossible state to achieve. The moment everything were to break down, people would start banding together for protection, and if people band together, there are rules, and they have created a form of government, ergo, destroying anarchy. Just a thought.
Also, not that i'm disagreeing, but believing everything you read on the interwebs is not a wise practice.

But if 50,000+ people say the same thing, then it is true.
I know that anarchy wouldn't be possible, because of the rules that other people would band together, and create.

Just a brief question... if the news always tells you what the government wants you to hear, why are they blasting out the government? Just... logical fallacy.
Plus, 50,000+ people said the world was flat.

And the good ol' webernets. They're better and worse than the news! xd

Lol. The entire government is a conspiracy. Sure they do keep us safe, but only to keep them selves safe. I hate the government. We need another revalution, to put the government back in its place.

What exactly are you discontent with that revolution is the answer? While I agree that some things about the country don't make sense, and aren't 100% good, I hardly see a reason to incite violence and major reform. We have one of the strongest economies in the world, we have more luxuries than pretty much anyone, more personal freedoms than most places... What possible reason could we have to rebel? That's sort of a last ditch effort, when living in a country is worse than dieing in a country.

I would rather die in this country, because I hate this goverment. It is corrupt, and there are many idiots in controll. The rich get richer, and the poor, get poorer. If you are born poor, you can't get out of poverty, becuase the rich take all the money. The government, also has a promblem, because we have a freedom right...
But! tell me this, if you have freedom, then why do you go to jail if you do drugs?! This country is corrupt, and everyone in the government. Also, the Army brain washes you. When you go into it, they make you think that you are killing for a good reason. There is no good reason to kill. Also, in a revalution, you do not need violence to get your point across. There are peacful revalutions.

There hasn't ever been a successful peaceful revolution. I have personally seen people leave poverty. There are politicians that I regard as moral and intelligent. Drugs are illegal in virtually the entire world, with a small handful of exceptions. Without an army, we would be at the mercy of any hostile force. If you don't want to live here, where would you rather live, then?

Incorrect about there not being a successful peaceful Revolution. There has been exactly one... Here in Canada.
And towards Vein... well you just spew out the same garbage all chewed up, that every other fanatic and as the US likes to call them "Terrorist" says. Its true that in every society there is problems, but many of them are simply there, and un-fixable. And really... Drugs are illegal almost everywhere, and its pretty simple why you get thrown in jail.... ITS ILLEGAL! Its not corruption, its simply that a proper society should not be doing things so detrimental to themselves!
I'm sorry... But when you get smashed to pieces holding up the flag of Revolution, no one shall shed a tear for your stupidity.

But, why would should drugs be illegal if they only harm the person that is using them? There is no reason for it to be illegal. It only harms the user, not anyone else around them.

Really? Another optimist... For me to correct.
Drugs do not only harm the user. It harms society on a whole, by damaging some people, who slowly lead others down the same dark path. Its true that the initial damage is to one, and only one person. But can you imagine, for a second, what it would be like if it wasn't illegal, and everyone did drugs such as Meth? That would be the entire world playing Russian Roulette... in the end all that would be left was a bunch of dead people, a pathetic legacy to the world....
So you see, drugs do harm everyone! and I'm sorry... but making Drugs illegal, does not mean the Government in the USA is corrupt....

Then tell me this. Why in one state do they have drugs legal, except for meth? The town is perfectly fine, and they sell drugs to only a certain amount of people, who are a certain age, and they only sell so much at a time. And they have to stay in the place, until the drugs effects ware off. There is one state like that, and it is a perfectly fine state.
