Kakarie my band is going to BOA for the first time ever! i'm excited, even though i know we probably won't even make it into the finals. anyone else doing BOA? i know edowonda (sp?) is.

5th place. BOA SA...not bad, not bad. Not good either. We will make it up in Grand Nationals.

yeah, we made finals.
the first year our band went to boa, we made finals.
we got ninth place...but we still made finals, right?
the only reason gilbert beat us by so much is that their show is WAY easier than ours.
i mean, they're halted practically everytime they play.
it's dumb.

Yeah okay, we didn't make finals which is really disappointing. We had a great run, the best of the season and our director even said it was great. But I guess band in Texas is brutal

9th out of 23 bands isnt that bad.

So we just got back from a BOA competition from NAU in Flagstaff, Arizona. We got 2nd place in finals next to Sierra Vista who got like 2 points more than us... Anyways, we are going to grand nationals next year for the first time, it's only the most exciting thing ever, especially since our band is only 4 years old...

.A.k.u.r.a.c.h.i. But I guess band in Texas is brutal oh yes it is. my band (creekview) went to boa san antonio and got and 80.30 which is a pretty dang good score. WE GOT 26TH. OUT OF 55ish BANDS. if that's not brutal i don't know what is. but you gotta love texas marching band.

Not bad for our first regional since 2003.

But I guess band in Texas is brutal eh. we didn't even get a run with all the trailers on our parking lot, and then Dawson lent the field to Reagon... and they were practicing for hours. but really, we aren't a BOA band; we actually march and play the entire time.

I'm from CA, I'm going to Grand Nationals, it's my school's second time...the other CA band is going there for their first time...
Someone here is from the same school as me, the same band as me.
That's cool. XD
Well, besides that, I hope everyone going to their BOA show gives it their best. biggrin
