I guess it's just you and me then all those people who said they were interested are gone I guess, or don't want to do it anymore.

I'd like to learn how to animate things. Though it takes a good sense of movement which I don't really have. sweatdrop
I'll try. That's what I'm here for. I love learning.

Oh dear. T-T It appears I can't even make a ball bounce right!

And after I made that, I discovered this other one that I made a loooong time ago.

I learned a little bit of 2D Animation in school. The only animation I can do well is the ball bouncing and my worst is making someone walk. It looks so weird. xd
I can try my best to help out and maybe improve my animation skill too. ^^

Split: The top version is much better than the bottom version 3nodding
The arch coming in is nice. biggrin try adding more stretch to the ball as it's falling before it hits the ground. 3nodding
I see some squash on the ground, it's looking good 3nodding
When the ball hits the wall don't forget the speed should still make the ball stretch before it hits the wall then squash when it does. When the ball bounces up and away, make sure the center of the ball stays on it's path, or it'll wiggle a bit.

I'd love to hear what you have to say! I'm in the MFA program for Animation & Special Effects at AAU, but since I skipped over most of the BFA classes and right into the grad program, I have some catching up to do. Looking forward to what you have to share!

I know this is months late but holy cow I just stopped boycotting this account so it's new news to me. xD I came in here about to ask about animation too. heart
Unfortunately I'm also not at home so I can't retrieve the bouncing ball animation I've made. :'D In case you couldn't guess, I've been playing around in animator programs.
(Speaking of which, Easytoon and Pencil are both great free programs you guys can download. Easytoon is done with black and white largeish pixels, but it's very easy, and you've all probably seen animations from that program at some point, since it's got a very distinct style. But since it's with pixels, and you can zoom in, I find it really fun to use for the simple animation experiment, since you can adjust things on a pixel-by-pixel basis. Pencil is a more advanced program, so it's a little harder to learn to use, but it's got colors, layers, and holy-cow-vectors. Plus it's easier to figure out how to change the FPS, which I'll pretend you've talked about already. |D)
