Storm watched calmly as Richard began to scream and twitch violently.
"It wouldn't matter; the blade is poisoned as well. A different sort, but not nearly as pleasent as this."

Thus fooled, Richard fell to his side, screaming in agony. He paused a moment as a booted foot was placed on his cheak. Managing to glance up, he got a chance to see the eyes of his formour best friend on him before the boot raised up and smashed down on his neck.
"Remove this scum from my deck." Ranu said, "Sorry to steal your kill, love."

Storm spat on the deck, and whipped her dirk clean on her supprisingly spotless pantaloons. The blood didn't leave a mark.
"I'll forgive you if you happen to have a blood orange on board?"

Ranu glanced to a crew member who, ironically, had just stolen said fruit. He made to protest, then grunted before giving it to his captain. Ranu, in turn, held the fruit out to Storm.

((Sorry y'all. I've been swamped with homework lately (5 honors classes might have been overdoing it a bit.) I'll be on less, but I'll do my best to keep up.))

Storm smiled her thanks and tore through the orange skin carelessly. Blood red, sticky jucies squirted out and onto the deck and Ranu. By accedent of course.
"Sorry."
She peeled off a slice of the orange gleefully and sucked it into her mouth.
"These are the best bloody things you will ever grace your toungue with. Well, that you can find on the surface."

Ranu run a long finger down the stain, raising it to his mouth and licking it. "Mmm. So I see." He said with a sigh. He glanced up in time to hear the words "LAND HO!" before grinning at Storm. "Party time." He turned to the crew, who were running up to see the island. "Don't piss about. Battle positions. I want the cannon loaded. I want weapons loaded and swords sharp. And work on the raping. The only screams I heard were those of children begging you dogs to leave their mothers."

Storm nimbly sidestepped anyone moving where she was standing, still eating the orange.
"You know, I don't think I ever heard a captain tell his crew that they needed to work on their raping. That's like teaching them how to kiss."

Ranu was slowly reloading his musket as Storm spoke. He frowned slightly at the musket and shrugged his shoulders. After he spat the bullet into the barrel, he looked up at the elf, "Its true. All I heard was some kid screaming at them to stop."
He glanced up at the closing fort. It was still well outside range, but close enough for him to draw his telescope out and look up at it. "They've not seen us. Change the flag to the Union Jack swiftly," he ordered and a crew member did so. A look of satisfaction crossed Ranu's face. "That'll fool 'em."

Storm started to reply, but then she was jostled, making her drop her orange. Storm grabbed the perpetrator by the hair, yanked his head back and ran her dirk across his throat. She dropped the body and stared mournfully at her half eaten splattered orange lying on the ground, dripping weapon in hand.
"Bloody fool. As I was saying, well, yeah you are going to hear children telling them to stop. Unless, you are ravashing the children as well. Or give them a kiss."

Ranu gave a grunt of annoyment as his crew member was killed. "Do you mind? I needed him. Oh well." A free crew member got a new orange for the female elf, as the ship drew closer and closer to the Jamacan fort. The ship sat there within range, with the fort being ranged. They made it seem as if if they were about to fire a salute when... "FIRE!"
The sound of Ranu's voice carried to the fort where the three officers made to duck back. They were killed as their section of fort exploded. The three rows of cannon fired on the fort, while the crew members ran to long boats, launching them and rowing for shore. A second cannon volly struck the stunned Fort who replied in a ragged volly. One of the longboats was hit, and blood sprayed the air.

Storm saw that she had had every right to kill the man. He also touched her. That was an offense worthy of being kheel-hauled, at the very least. SHe winced in sympathy for those in the longboats.
"You could not get e into one of those dreadful things for all the money you had. They're floating death traps. No pun intended."
