Meko was flying around on Nanaba with food only on his mind. He had been flying for days and he hadn''t eaten on any of them. Suddenly he smelt chicken. A little burnt, but It was chicken. "Finally!" Meko jumped off Nanaba and landed about 20 feet below. He ran over to the house, but didn''t enter. He went into a tree and looked through a window.

Collette nodded to Lloyd, then quickly threw the bucket of water onto the fire. The fire went out (thank god). Collette smiled, then proceeded to place the chicken-pot on the table. Luckily, the chicken hadn't suffered much...it would probably be a little too well-done, but that was probably for the best. After all, raw meat made you sick! Or at least that's what Grandma had said.
Collette smiled, and quickly bustled over to get plates.

Rawey.EXE Vincent was standing in the desert looking at the night sky. "As black as the aura this weapon is surrounded with.." Tavvi had just left Triet a few days ago, and hadn't expected to see anyone else until she reached the edge of the desert. But here was this... person, staring at the sky. "Hello?" she called out, somewhat wary. She had her scythe at the ready in case things turned ugly.

Tavreynya Rawey.EXE Vincent was standing in the desert looking at the night sky. "As black as the aura this weapon is surrounded with.." Tavvi had just left Triet a few days ago, and hadn't expected to see anyone else until she reached the edge of the desert. But here was this... person, staring at the sky. "Hello?" she called out, somewhat wary. She had her scythe at the ready in case things turned ugly. Vincent turned and looked at the girl "..." He said nothing and started to walk away covering his demon-gun with a peice of a black jacket.

"Hey, what's with you?" Tavvi called after him, starting to follow. "There's no way I'm letting you walk away now! You might sneak off and come back to shoot me for all I know!"

Just as she was finishing setting the table, Collette noticed someone looking in through the window. Curious, she quickly snuck outside and ended up behind him.
She poked him gently. "Hello?"

Corrine rubbed her head and used the outside of the house to get up. She adjusted her bow, arrows, and sword. She looked around and saw Lloyd.
"Hey, Gramps. What are you doing?"

"Don't tell me what I wish or what I don't. That's for me to decide. And right now I'm deciding that you're really suspicious!"

Collette stared at the mysterious newcomer for a few moments, then smiled and stuck out a hand. "Konnichiwa! My name is Collette, and I live here. What is your name?"

The smell of chicken wafted to Aleda'a small house near the edge of Iselia Forset. Aleda's stomach growled, reminding her that she hadn't eaten.
"No," She said, rolling over and hugging her stomach, "Limited funds means no dinner."
On cue, Aleda's head started aching.
Sighing, Aleda scurried out the door in her baggy blue sleeping pants and white t-shirt.
"Okay, just follow the smell and see who's cooking. Then it's straight back home. Look but don't touch, don't accept pity..."
(OOC: *Yes* Aleda talks to herself...)

"Oh, no, it's all right! I already have two guests tonight - my fiancee and another woman, who...is in the area. I'm sure we have enough room for one more guest!" Collette smiled. "Besides...I don't think you're the type who gets to stay in one place long enough to do much. You must be hungry."
((Oh, is it?...I knew that. But...it just shows how aloof Collette is. She uses the wrong vocabulary. ^_^))
