Eventually, Shunketsu brought an injured person back to the medical ward. Shunketsu was forced to pick up the pace a little, the person had lost quite a bit of blood...
After handing the injured over to someone, Shunketsu stood there and took a breath...catching a glimpse of something red out of the corner his eye, Shunketsu turned and saw Saigo...red sleeves...not something he saw everyday...and she was holding what seemed like a kunai pretty tightly...
"hey there...do you really think you should be holding your zanpakutou so tightly? people may think you're plotting to use it on someone..."
Shunketsu's tone made it sound like a joke more than a warning...which is what it was meant to be...for all he knew, the zanpakutou may have been a healing type...

Karite took what little treatment he got and robbed himself. When he turned with his Zanpaktou slung over his back he he turned to Saigo with a wink and went to go collect the injured that he had hurt in the North district.

He did not move, just as he was instructed, because he was so far gone that he could barely even speak, let alone consciously decide what to do about the pain that was coursing through his body. When he felt the healing magic, it was the first time he really came back a little, his eyes were glazed over a little still, but when he came back that slight bit, the pain hit him in a wave and his fist clenched tighter then he had ever done it before. The punctured lung and the liver was only half of the battle however, because unaware to her as she was pulling out the dagger, there was both poison upon the tip of it that had made it's way into his liver and lung, and the skin around the wound on his front (where the knife had poked through) began to turn slightly black around the hole. Then, the last problem was the curve the dagger had at the end, while she was pulling it out, the curved end was only ripping his insides apart. He breathed heavily and his teeth were clenched, his eyes wide. When she had gotten the blade mostly out he jerked his body and the curved end tore out of his back, taking the dagger out completely, finally. Though it was stupid to pull, he knew the dagger hadf only skin left to tear, and for someone who had just had a curved blade torn through his insides, it was not much that anyone wouldn't have wanted to do. To get the knife out as fast as possible. The healing that he had received from Hikari was soon reversed by Medixia pulling the unknown shaped blade from Haro's back. He was still smiling though as he lay there, and he was laughing slightly, his body had gone into shock and he could no longer feel, though he was tingling, and maybe there was a cold sensation. He smiled still and shook his head. "You guys...are...good friends. Thank....you..." He whispered, tears had welled up in his eyes...but he refused to give up completely yet. The black color of the flesh was also indicated on the outside where the dagger had just left, and if Medixia were to peer inside she would notice the flesh inside of him turning slightly black.

Karite came back in setting down a few women and children and sitting them down against the wall. His black gi now a crimson red, not in their blood but his own he took it off and discarded it and turned to Kaosu.
"Kaosu my good friend do you have a Gi I could use, there are many more people that need to be helped and I cant go running around Soul Society in my undergarments."

Kaosu turned, looking at the bare-backed friend. "Sorry, mate. I don't carry spare clothes. Ask one of the medics. They probably have a few in stock." He shook his head, leaning his back against the wall, still looking at Saigo. Who would carry spare clothes?

((Gah... I'll come up with something... -_-; I might take up a certain bad habit of saying, "Gaoh!" (kudos and cookies to whoever gets the obscure anime reference) Anyway, Raven. I'm taking liberties to account for the fact that Medixia's history accounts of taking care of some similiar injuries. Also. Poison information ahead of time! -_- The point-of-entry would already be showing signs.))
::Instead of tearing through flesh, the instant Medixia notices the resistance the blade is giving she knows its curved. Why a peasant would even be using one is a mystery to her. There aren't many uses for curved blades of this length, so there's no reason to believe a peasant would have one. With a sigh, she begins altering the trajectory of the blade as it comes out to account for the curved edge. She'd rather not be doing more damage than she has to. Besides, she'd already noticed some discoloration around the point of entry. Gah... Things would be easier with some antidote chiyu or something.::
::As much as this is exasperating her, she has no reason to go around kicking whoever poisoned Haro and get what was used. She has no reason to believe it's organic. She doubts anybody knows how to make a proper poison the way she does. No. She's more convinced its heavy metal poisoning or chemical poisoning. If it is organic, it's not to her level at the very least. Still. With a sigh, she finally removes the blade and beings gently squeezing the wound to see if anything oozes out, an indication of the type of poison. She can't close up the wound without knowing the poison is expelled, but she can't leave Haro's liver and lung in too terrible a condition. He's suffering both internal and external bleeding. I can easily reopen the wound to treat the poison-afflicted areas, but there's no guarantee any of that will work.::
::The fact that she actually has to stay in thought for so long is an indication of how difficult this one is to approach. She looks over to Hikari. She's already used one chiyu, even minimal success is success. She looks to her satchel and begins spying the jars. If there were such a thing as a cure-all, things would be easier. As thing stand, she has knows of no chiyu which can remove poison. If there is, she's not sure who to stop for such a specialized use.::
Gah... If Yukie-taichou were here, this wouldn't be so much of a hassle.
::With a twitch of an eyebrow, she decides enough is enough.::
Yo! Any medic with an antidote chiyu would be appreciated over here!
(( xp Preference on moderator playing NPCs of course xp Unless, of course, I'm absolutely allowed to... Besides, Raven's made this extraordinarily hard to deal with stare ))

((Conner... When did Kaosu get back to Saigo? O_o; )) ((Shunny... Saigo's entire uniform is red xd not just her sleeves.))
arrow Saigo
When she first heard Shunketsu, Saigo didn't really think anything of it. She was distracted by the gleam of her zanpakutou, and she only nods. "Hmm..." It's a bit of a statement in agreement, interestingly. She blinks, however, as she comes to realize what his statement meant, and she doesn't catch the joking nature of his tone. She nearly jumps as she suddenly stands erect, and her arms half-flail into the air...unintentionally flipping her kunai-shaped zanpakutou up and above her as well. Saigo looks at Shunketsu with a surprised expression, wide-eyed, before blinking and looking at her...empty hands. She looks up and sees what she rather didn't want to see...and immediately jumps, again, into a position to shield her chest while at the same time lifting and angling her leg to protect her lower portion.
The kunai lands with a hard thud not two inches from Shunketsu, and Saigo feels a sharp pain run through her abdomen before she falls backwards to sit in the same spot she was before. She slowly opens her eyes to see what damage has been done... She first looks to herself, hoping she didn't end up stabbing herself with her own weapon or reopening her abdominal wound. Then her eyes begin scanning the floor in front of her...namely towards where her zanpakutou may have angled...the man who'd brought her out of her train of thought... Shunketsu, that is. She hasn't quite noticed Kaosu, yet.
arrow Hikari
Hikari blinks at Medixia's outburst. She's not surprised, though. Haro's not exactly in what one would call 'good' shape. At the same time, she wonders what an 'antidote' is. She looks around to see if anybody responds.

((hehe...well...i only read something about red sleeves mad D))
((EDITED!! Didn't read Sam's post correctly ><...was pondering what Kaosu meant in his post down below...didn't quite figure it out until I read it over several more times...for some odd reason, covering of the chest and lower portion totally didn't catch my attention the first several reads...))
Shunketsu was rather surprised that responded in such a way. He eyed the kunai as it went upwards and came back down just in front of him...he didn't move though, if there was one thing he's good at, it's being able to see what is actually a threat. Shunketsu grinned a bit as he picked her kunai up...
"calm down...haha...we wouldn't want that injury of yours to get any worse...anywhos, I'm Hissori Shunketsu..."
Shunketsu twirled her zanpakutou a bit before he handed it back to her...only to now realize what had happened to her clothing...which caused him to immediately avert his eyes and bow in apology...
"I apologize! I didn't mean anything! Your red clothing just caught my attention! I'm sorry!! I was just trying to start a conversation! I'm sorry!!"
Shunketsu started to really think about shutting up and hiding in a corner for a few days, but he knew that would never happen...he had too much to do. Shunketsu obviously had no clue of Saigo's former affiliation. Right now, he was just trying to break the tension...this girl seemed to be overly nervous...and combine that with his knack for ending up in situations he would rather not be in, this was going to be one really hard task...

Karite shrugged his shoulders and went off to North district to get more people. His wounds were healing quicker then normal thank to Medixia's small treatment. He would bring back a few more before he called a day and took a break. What had happened in such a short period of time?

Kaosu laughed at the girl's antics, turning slightly and handing her a white robe he found on the bed next to him. "I think you may want this." He smiled, winking. "We don't want Shunketsu getting any thoughts."
Kaosu didn't quite know how the boy had ratcheted the name, but he knew he was called 'Hentai-san'. Might as well exploit that. "Plus, this way we'll be able to see if you're bleeding. Wearing a red shihakushou won't help us any."

Haro coughed as he lay there in his own blood, it was still pooling around him, being pierced through as such was not quite the most comfortable thing to do. He narrowed his eyes and he placed his hands upon the ground. He looked at his friends around him and he pushed his hands against the ground and lift himself up to a sitting position. He had bit his lips so hard to not think of the pain it caused him to move that his lip was now bleeding. Every time he exhaled a little bit of blood came up with it and he could feel the strange feeling of water in his lungs. Though he knew it wasn't water, it was blood from the lung being pierced. While he looked around he smirked and shook his head. "I....would......miss you guys. If....I were.....to go." He said shakily as he sat there, his blood was still pouring from both his front and back from the wound and the flesh around the skin was increasingly dark, pitch black now on both sides of the wound. He didn't want to leave quite yet. He looked around and he could barely see, his vision blurred and darkened. "Where is Kaosu?" He asked as he sat there. "Is he okay?"

Kaosu blinked. At the mentioning of his name he turned, looking for whoever called him. Finally, his eyes attached to Haro's bleeding body. "Stupid b*****d." He muttered, hopping over to stand in front of him. He took off his upper gi and pressed it against the wound, staunching the flow of the blood.
He wasn't a medical man, but he at least knew some decent first aid. "I'd help if I could, Medi-chan. I'm...not so good at Chiyu, yeh?" He shook his head, stamping it harder against the wound.
"Stop talking or I'll knock you out myself, Haro."

He gritted his teeth when he felt the cloth press against his chest and he coughed, spattering blood on Kaosu's gi and he looked blankly past him, as if he were blind. He was strong...yes...but he had been stabbed previous to going back to the battle ground, and carrying two bodies all the way here...he was exhausted, and wouldn't be able to take too much more. "Hey...Kaosu. You are alright." He said with a laugh. He lifted his hand, the cut he had made and pressed to Kaosu's own was still there and he laughed. "You were my first....and best friend." He said with a smirk as he sat there. "Thank you Kaosu...for everything." He said, the markings all across his body were randomly beginning to change without any sort of notice, moving on their own free will, a sign his brain was beginning to shut down. It seemed that the poison had successfully begun to spread towards it. His chest was almost completely black now and his eyes seemed an odd gray color. "You know...I was just trying to help those people...don't know....why.....she....stabbed.." He began to say as he heaved a cough and fell backwards, rather still. Though his stomach and chest no longer moved with breath, showing that it was something he wasn't doing, but the symbols on his body continued to move, somehow his brain was still active, even if they wouldn't take that knowledge out of the situation, it was still there.

::Medixia's eyes narrow as Haro falls backwards. As she watches the symbols moving, her eyes widen and pupils dilate. The gears in her own head are working. Though she doesn't know the significance of those symbols, she does know time is running out. If he's not breathing, the "rule of threes" is in its most dire effect. She recites the first rule to herself. Three minutes without air... She lets out an agitated breath before brushing Kaosu aside with her shoulder, her weight behind it. It might be called a tackle where she retains her balance. She licks her lips as she takes no precaution in tearing Kaosu's clothe away from Haro's body.::
You fool. You aren't dieing here today!
::She quickly loops her middle finger around the loop of her zanpakutou, pulling it out while it rotates around the same finger. With a quick yank, she pulls it into her hand with a tight grip. I don't know if it'll help, but I've gotta get a sample of some degrading tissue. Before she goes about securing a sample, she pulls a small vial from her satchel. It may not be a cure all antidote, but it should help. She's taken notes about reiatsu and reishi since she arrived in Soul Society. She carefully inserts her zanpakutou through the opening in the vial, and, when she extracts it, a clear liquid gently coats it.::
Gah... This better work.
::Carefully, she begins scrapping the dead and dieing tissue. She makes sure it falls into the open vial. All the while she's letting her reiatsu creep across her zanpakutou. The whole point is to activate the reishi within the vial. When she's satisfied with the sampling, she wipes her zanpakutou off before holding the vial up to her face. She wants to watch the color change. Based on her observations, she could, potentially, find out what kind of poison was used. If it's an organic base, she might just be able to whip something up. If it's a chemical base, she's got no experience in that area. What she doesn't know is that her zanpakutou has influence over poisons. Her next thoughts escape as quiet whisperings.::
I hope my studies of reishi mean something...
::She knows the whole problem is she hasn't tested the reishi she produced the liquid from. As she's watching the vial, she turns to Kaosu.::
It would help a lot more if we could find Yukie-taichou, or somebody who can use a kidou which cures poisons. I can only do so much, and Hikari can't keep just healing him...
::She pauses. If the poison gets into his nervous tissue, this could be real trouble...or even major organs. She looks around hoping to see somebody not busy with another critical patient.::
((Gah... If you can't tell, I'm running out of material -_- ))

arrow Saigo
Saigo blinks as she looks back down at herself. Did she miss something? Her flaps opened a little bit... Was that something to get so flustered about? With a confused shrug, she takes back her zanpakutou (the kunai part that is). She clicks something on the beads around her sash, and there is an immediate sound of whirring gears and metal line being retracted. The whole contraption she seems to be wearing brings the kunai back to a rested position. When Kaosu returns and offers her a change of clothes, she blinks as she, curiously, picks up the white robe. "You want me to change? ...in front of you?" She hadn't told them about her past affiliation with Aikou; though, she's surprised they hadn't figured it out by her red uniform. With a shake of her head as Kaosu hurries away, she turns back to Shunketsu, rubbing the back of her head. "Hehe... I'm Kame Saigo... Sorry 'bout that... Glad I didn't hit you..."
arrow Hikari
Hikari can only watch Medixia, confused. She has no idea what the woman is up to. She watches with the natural curiosity inherent children. Though initially worried about Haro, it's hard to tell if she actually was. She might just be concerned about losing a good sparring partner.
