Lucifer gazed coldly down at him. "Leave me, Damien. It would seem that you have escaped the failure condition of our deal for now. I claim my sacrifice." He returned to his previous form, a flash of light ejecting Damien backwards, looking incredibly weak. He reached down, grabbing Vect by the throat and pulling him up. "My pain... shall become yours."
Eight black chains burst out of the ground around them, two wrapping around Lucifer's wings and sanapping them again, a third wrapping around his neck, while a fourth coiled around the rest of his body. The other four would wind around Vect, returning him to his human form.
A ninth chain appeared, wrapping around the both of them tightly enough to snap a human's spine.
Then a black hole began to open in the ground, and the chains dragged Lucifer in, taking with him a transparent, ghostlike version of Vect.
Then the hole closed, and the previous darkness around the area faded, Vect's lifeless corpse falling to the ground.

Damien stood shakily. "In hindsight, you probably should have given me that raise, Vect." He gazed over at the Water Shard, still hovering where it had risen. He hobbled over to it, placing a hand on the gem's surface, and the tattoo on his chest began glowing. "Funny," he panted, staring over at Kana. "How quickly a previously amiable relationship can turn sour, isn't it?" This is bad. Lucifer took more than usual. If I can't flee before she attacks, I won't be able to block or heal...

(Look for the bitchy old guy in the Spectator Box with the southern accent. Can't miss him.)

A strange, cloaked figure stood across the river, watching the outcome of the battle.
So, Damien is becoming active again. And Shiva is reawakening as well. I wonder, how many of the others have become aware?
It turned, hobbling away on a wooden cane before disappearing in an instant, as if it had never been there to begin with. I would help, but I cannot reveal myself to Damien just yet. Just as the old oak must endure the storm, so must I endure.

Cerberus Stomped heavily toward Vect's dead body, Damien and the newly arrivaled Adrian. "YOU!!!" her anger nearly overwelmed her. "SPLIT UP!!" Suddenly two heads started to rip apart from the main body forming 3 giant dogs. Each dog exposing it's teeth, drooling vicously. The two continued on their target while the one on the left change course slightly and charged after Adrian. Kana yelled out. "Sick'em!" All the Cerberus opened their mouth while running and let out a giant orb of Fire. It swirled in the air and 2 of them combined making a bigger, much stronger orb. The orbs dashed straight for it's target following them wherever they would go. The Larger one after Damien and the other after Adrian. The dog on the left and right continued to move forward while the middle one, which Kana was on stayed still. She said calmly. "hold on boy. We have to be careful with him."

Kana was speechless. With the sight of Damien leaving the area with Adrian she couldn't hold it in. She punched down hitting the spine of Cerberus. The dog wimpered from the pain and soon after the other two dogs started to cry. The dog Kana was on walked slowly to Vects body and lowered his head allowing Kana to walk down without any effort what-so-ever. "I-I can't believe this." She walked over to him looking down at his face. It had a satisfactory smile upon it. Like he wasn't in any pain. In a happier place. She kissed him on the lips for a long while before closing his eyes. Her eyes were also closed from the tears falling onto Vects forehead. She stayed there crouched down not moving from that spot for anything.


Xild called out to Lani over the earphone then drifted down. He see's the scene between Kana and the now dead Vect. Well i was going to give the body to Doc but...a feeling inside my chest. It says not to He stood there charging his Ki.

She kinda had to drag the old man to come with her and had no clue Tsune was following right behind as she saw the distruction every where and let go of the old farts arm as she ran to mrs. Kana. She saw the look in her eyes and knew the worst had come as death seem to hover in the air as she spoke , "I'...i'm to late.."

Gabriel entered the area everyone looks so sad. i guess the tournament is over. that sucks

Loki slowly went over as she looked at the dead body, her eyes study him up and down as she pressed her finger lightly to her fang pressing almost hard enough to cut the skin. she muffled not feeling any thing, death wasn't knew and she hardn't knew this man , "He can be brought back....only.." she was quite and got up knowng better not to speak of such things being in the holy works as she was, "There is way to bring her back Madam Kana...but it requires sacrifice and a lot of fight...long as the body is healed and frozen some where not to desentigrate."

Loki sighed softly feeling the hand on her shoulder and looked up unsure now , "yeah, but ech feel so useless now I couldn't do any thing the guy was there and the fallen angel.....its worth a shot right?"
