"Not now, guys. We have to track down the resistance, REMEMBER?" I was getting a little pissed. Not only did I have a marid on my team, but I also now had Bartimaeus on my team as well. I was holding a grudge against him, seeing as he had mistaken me for an enemy in prauge. I am 100 years older than him, but it didn't really make a difference.

NOW GET MOVIN'!" These two were really getting on my nerves. Sure, I had a marid on my team, but he was about 4000 years younger than me. I probably knew more than him. Bartimaeus was a lower level djinni than I, so he didn't worry me. Anyway, I had athourity. I was the first to be summoned, so I was therefore the leader of the group.(it's a rule of thumb-you summon the leader first.) Therefore, I had the choice to order them around, although they didn't truly have to obay me unless it was important. "Let's split up. Come back in an hour with any found resistance members, by any means possible. Bartimaeus, you go that way, Skiotise, you go that way, and I'll go this way." I pointed each time, keeping Bartimaeus as far from myself as possible. "Remember, an hour, no more, no less." I turned in my direction, re-sprouted my demon wings, and jumped off, from roof to roof, gliding on my wings.

Kirin was being summomned, she hated it, she saw other demons try to stay but she had found it was easier to just go, do your work and come back again... then again she hadn't had a master for a very long time.. as she entered the circle, assuming her favourite form, she could tell something wasn't right, she checked all the edges, .....nope... they were fine.. she looked round the room, that was it... she was in a massive summoning chamber, but only her circle was being used.. and it seemed to be the middle of the night, she finally rested her eyes on the summoner before her, surprised at it being a man younger than 20, "what do you want of me then?" she stared him in the face, her beauty should confuse him to a certain point.. maybe he would stumble and she could leave, the man stood straight. "I want you to.. go out and fetch me the leader of the resistance!" he called out, "now why would you want me to do that?" I replied, normally there would be a whole roomful of conjurers sending hundreds of demons out but it was just him.. " I want to be the one to find the resistance, then the ministry will have to acknowledge me!! now go!!" he shouted, "okay...okay... keep your hat on" she faded and left for the streets....
