Yasuo could have glared a hole straight into Fluke’s forehead at his comments. Those scars on the other male’s muzzle were pitince compared to the ones he received when he was living with his father. Even his father’s mate, Hera’s mother, could do more damage to him than what Fluke’s grandmother did to him. “Pathetic,” he muttered under his breath. “An old wolf doing that much harm to you? Unheard of.”
He stared at his mate for a few tense moments, not sure of what to do. It seemed that she wanted to hurt her son rather than help him. Why did she forget about her only son? Only Yasuo could guess the many reasons why she would abandon him, but could never come up with the correct one. And he didn’t want to bug her with such trivial stuff. That was in the past like his old life.
It was then that she heard her say that they were going to stay in the pack. This went against every law for the pack, but she was also in charge. He nodded his head and stared at the blue femme and Fluke. “You two best be on your good side or else,” he warned the two wolves as he started to walk beside Orphen, fear and hatred in his eyes. He didn’t want the rest of the pack wolves to be tainted with the blue femme’s curse. He knew what Orphen meant with her last comment. If anything did happen to make the curse come to life, it would be up to Yasuo to deal out the punishment.
