Well, Jules, a fellow Guard, broke her nose with a toss. We've had several silks rip in half this year during performances as well...but that's because our new silks suck.
Oh yeah. And our new guard Coach needs to go play in traffic. She is the WORST guard coach ever.
Telling us we suck is NOT going to boost morale, kthxbai. D':

Freshman year - I was playing flute and behind all of the senior. We were doing Hey Mickey, and as a visual, we bent down and shook, if you get what I mean. My best friend Sara's pants spilt in half in the back.
We were running to our next spot when my flute fell apart... literally.
We were at a competetition and the weather was bad. The guard girls couldn't fell their fingers, and on the last toss, a saber came flying at me. It caught me in the leg and my WHITE pants were a lovely reddish pink for the rest of the show.... NOT FUN
Sophmore year - I was runinig onto the field when my mouthpiece fell off and got stepped on. The ground was wet, so it just went into the ground, and I had to play it with all the mud in it -.-
Junior Year - I really screwed up my left leg playing hockey and was on crutches. Now, the doctor said NO MARCHING. So I wasn't going to, be my setcion changed my mind when they said :"We don't know the music..." Me: WHAT?! Them: We don't... we always watch you.... So I marched that day. Half way through the second show, my left leg completely gave out *note that I pulled all on the tendons in the top of my foot* So I'm standing there, and I can't move, thank god that wasthe end, but I couldn't move... My assisstant band director had to come onto the field and carry me off bride style in front of a full stadium...

This year: In-coming Freshman were too stupid to learn to march in step; we nearly lynched them by the second week.
My clarinet fell apart in the middle of the show, where everyone could see me and laugh.
Both quad players broke the same drum head at the same time before we even got into the football 'stadium'.
The snares thought it would be fun to shatter their sticks again. Before halftime. D:
My friend dropped her flute down the stands and into the mud.
Last year: Our drum Majorette graduated. gonk
Quad player and I ran into each other multiple times during practices, because our director is a moron.

Well, I haven't really had a totally horrible moment yet... BUT My friend Aleah's flute used to have this problem where the endpiece was really loose.. And so when we put our horns down after the final movement of our show... During a competition... Her endpiece fell off her flute and rolled off!
It was pretty bad, but she ran after it real quick. rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl

Freshman Year: Before our competition, we were given new uniforms. It was a very muddy field, and our new uniforms were very dirty because of the field and people falling.
Sophomore Year: During a football game, the 4-5 almost had a very bad collision. Luckily, no one was hurt.

I'm a junior, so I don't join a competition. But when I at an exercise, I should play a duet with my friend at Trumpet 2 at song 'Gallant Entry' (I'm Baritone 2). So I play It and If I should play: 'mi-si-si-re-do-si-la-si-re-do', I play 'do-si-si-le-do-si-la-si-le-do' because I feel tired play 21 bars, so I can't play the high note. And the more embarrassing, I have to duet with my Trumpet 2's friend named Ima, and she doesn't know which song she had to play, so in first she play Hilangnya Seorang Gadis', and at duet she play 'Cadets Chorale', and add over field (and our seniors too) laugh to us, and I have to play whole the song alone. Finally I can did it well, but I should got a help from Dhani, Trumpet 3's senior, because the song was very long, so I have got asthma and can't breath. And the worst thing? I forgot my medicine, so I must got a first help from Dhani and all over fields saw us, and I never feel as bad as that.. after that, I try to join exercise again because I feel much better. We have to play a new slur that very hard. I can play it well, but make me got asthma again. I didn't need help, but have to rest at a bench near the curve. Then, when we must play 'Cadets Chorale', 'Progression 1,2,3,4, and 5', my friend that play in Baritone 1&2 like me call me. "What, Ndri?" I asked. "You have to play!" she said. I shocked, so I said, "No! Why I should play?" "I always watch you, so you have to play or I'll die!" she said. So I must play those accord, that have much high note, and I should take to hospital because I can't breath anymore. What a bad two hours!

My worst moment was my stick breaking halfway through my Tenor solo and i improvised something with one stick so i ended up sweeping untill a snare crosed my path and i stop for a measure to steal one of his remaining sticks... in which case he was snare 1 and he couldnt go in for his solo cuz he only had one stick =)

We lost one of our bass drum players after a show because the field was so crappy that her foot got stuck, she fell, and the drum fell on her. She popped her shoulder out of her socket, and we had another show that day. We still got first at Irondale that night, but she couldn't play for a week. Stupid Coon Rapids.

Freshman: I didn't have the strength to keep my marching baritone's horn angle up though the whole show... Sophomore: Our first competition was STORMING...and by the time we got on the field my mouthpiece was literally frozen...so I totally cracked the first note of the show...and didn't play for about a whole movement.
