I agree, the "Luke, I am your Father" was obviously NOT atni-climactic, but wouldn't you think Darth Vader would think...

Hmmmm.... My son would rather fall down a huge hole to almost certain death than join his father and be the second most powerful man in the galaxy......OH HEY, Attack of the Show is on!

i found it humorous, all that talk about how flipping great he is and ohhhh.... there he goes.

personally the best way to kill off a super bad guy without making it look grandiose and undeservingly grand is to make the death simple. Generally that has a humorous irony to it, which just adds to the depth of the story.

oh hell no
you can't get much more light side than Ben.

Anti Climactic moment: Aayla Secura's death in RotS.
She didn't even fight back!
just "Oopsie" dead.
Kriff that!

LOL I totally agree on this and what Takkan said because honestly they are friggin jedi masters! Hello? I mean so Aayla's death was like "Oh hey guys, what are those guns for?" Death.... And the four jedi masters and Palpatine, geez I wanna strangle someone I mean seriously 4 jedi masters against one sith who seems very new to saber battles yet he takes them all out in a matter of seconds. Which to me makes it seem like the jedi masters really aren't that great if some n00b can kick their trash. Oh well that's my thoughts.

Oh one more when Anakin puts on the suit and helmet for the first time and shouts "Nooooo" it was so sappy to me. Anyone else agree? I mean my heart goes out to him for his losses but honestly that dialogue bit could have either been done better or been left out. Just when he says "No" but the crushing of the things in the room with his force was cool and seemed emotional enough.

im sorry *shakes his head* Palps was no noob.... the man was super sith. of course he was a great fighter, he taught Maul, Dooku and Anakin. the man had knowledge of the blade, that is for sure. Jedi masters or not, only Samuel L. Jackson has the bad assed abilities capable of keeping up with that hot old man. and he still lost.

and yes darth vader nooooo scene sucked the biggest balls ever. i mean emo ani was more than enough throughout ep 2 & 3 but damnz what a shitty last scene.

Wild Cards
Probably the fall of Anakin, starting with Windu's fight against Palpatine.

-OMG Epic fight scene!-

-ENTER ANAKIN-

ANAKIN: Mace, no! I need him to save my wife from a condition that'll happen to everyone eventually, and I'm a spoiled brat who refuses to accept this! Killing him would be like... actually, kinda like how I killed Dooku at the start of this movie. But you can't kill him 'cause I said so!

MACE: -Goes to kill Palpatine anyways-

ANAKIN: NOOOOO! -Somehow randomly cuts off the hand of a Jedi Master after an amazing fight scene where he kept the Dark Lord of the Sith at bay-

PALPATINE: ...Huh. -Throws Windu out the window-

ANAKIN: NOOOOO! What have I done?!

PALPATINE: Turn to the dark side.

ANAKIN: ...Kay.

-END SCENE-

Does this seem wrong to anyone else?

I do not agree.. Palpatine has been putting alot of thoughts into anakins head at this point.. All in all anakain is already fallen at this point he just needed the last push.. And windu did broke all the reason he had for clinging unto the light side. He broke the rules by just wanting to kill him there. And the fact that he is able to cut windus hand off without a fight is that windu has all his concentration on the sith lord and the attack from anakin surprised him. As he said "If what you tell me is the truth you will have gained my trust"

You got me there. Thanks for correcting me I had forgotten (or rather put it out of my thoughts) that he had trained all three of those men. So again thank you for setting me straight^^ Also thanks for agreeing on the whole noooo scene lol for me it just murdered that part so when I watch it now I'll watch till he says that and either mute it or skip it.

I imagine that's why Holy put death in quotation marks.

I'd have to say that Greivous's death was the most anticlimactic moment (aside from the obvious one's everyone already took >.>)
Jesus, Greivous, I know Mace crushed your chest and Obi's badass, but learn to fight!
You've got four freakin' amrs >.<

To me, the most anti climactic scene was when Qui-gon died. I mean, he stole the "I'm going to die in about three seconds my young pupil, so you must find your own way to master the force" look for Obi-Wan in the original movie! It's like, as soon as you see that look, it gives it away: he's gonna die! I hate that. Plus, instead of concentrating on Maul, he throws a glance at Obi-Wan, what the hell, if that were me, I'd be ******** the plot, I want to live! I just really , REALLY hate that scene, because it ruined episode 1, they could have had him die another way, but no, he had to throw the death look. Well ******** that.

I also hate the fact that way way most Jedi battles in the movies end is with chopped off hands, let me give you some examples:

Luke vs. Vader(Episode 5)
Luke vs. Vader(Episode 6)
Jango Fett vs. Mace Windu(Episode 2)
Anakin vs. Dooku(Episode 2)
Anakin vs. Dooku(Episode 3)
Grievous vs. Obi-Wan(Episode 3)
Mace vs. Palpatine(Episode 3)
Obi-Wan vs. Anakin(Episode 3)

I mean, this galaxy must have more chopped off hands than a bowl of Wendy's chili!

The final, most anti-climactic scene is one we ALL hated. That scene was the absolute worst Star Wars moment ever. That scene is where Anakin killed Padme. Now, tell me this, why the hell would he kill the woman he tried to protect through the whole movie. Plus, the reason he killed her was even dumber, she brought Obi-Wan there and Anakin got pissed, and killed her off. That makes me think that Anakin has short-term memory loss and anger-issues, this is what I thought was running through his head when that happened:

Padme: Anakin, your breaking my heart!

Anakin:*seeing Obi-wan* You brought him here to kill me!

Padme: What! No, I...*chokes*

Ok, stop there, now we all know Anakin was surprised to see Obi-Wan, especially when its on Padme's ship. But how would he forget that HE KILLED THE JEDI COUNCIL. It's like hes saying "Ok, you brought the only guy who can beat me because I have killed the Jedi council and destroyed Democracy in the galaxy. Why would you do that, It's not like I did anything wrong. Well your a traitor now, and you must die!!" What. The. Hell. Plus, you already know she dies, so that ruins it, and the way she died made it even worse. I'm sorry, but that one scene killed Episode three to me.

Oooh, and in Star Wars Battlefront: Rogue Squadron, the Rebels trapped Palpatine in a room by blowing up the cieling over the doors! XD
Because Palpatine can't get past a pile of rocks AT ALL. No way. Jeez.

Oh, and let's not forget the end of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (the animated film)
First of all, it SUCKED. Secondly, there was no final fight scene. Just Anakin, and, oh, there's Dooku. We know he's gonna survive and Anakin can't die yet, so let's make 'em fight for a bit.
That was the worst fight scene I've ever seen in a movie. EVER. >.<
