Asako's ears perked up at the mention of food and exploration. "Yeah, that sounds great!" she replied, quickly picking back up her large suitcase and walking down toward one of the remaining rooms. "I'll just be a minute!" she called back over her shoulder as she entered and shut the door behind her.
She first pulled out her many pieces of clothing. About the only thing she envied from the human world was their outfits, she had thought once, and so now her closets were always filled with designer outfits she had liberated from human stores. Storing them in the chest of drawers, she turned next to the theater magazines and romance novels than comprised most of her reading collection. The only other reading materials were a training manual for twin sai, and a couple of theatre plays and exercises for her drama classes.
Next, she pulled out the sai themselves, which she placed in a drawer on the desk for now, with the promise to get them mounted later on. Finally, she took out her diary and a simple wooden flute. Though she could only play a few bars on it at the moment, it had been a gift from a guy she had been dating (a human, and very sweet, actually. He had given her the flute as an apology for having to cut it off with her) a few years ago, and she treasured it dearly. Not that she’d actually show how much it really meant to her, though.
Once she was all done, she returned to where she had last seen Anne. Popping up behind her, she playfully asked, “So, Chef, what’s cooking?”

Ax walked out of his room scratching his head as he saw the bird. "This will be a true fun-fest," he mumbled. "Hi, I'm Ax and this, is Comet," he said as the cat stalked out of his room. "You won't see much of her, she tends to sleep in my room all day long.
He walked back into his room, Comet following him. Shutting the door, he finally took off his mask. The only reason he wore it, because underneath, he had a scar that he was born with, and it would never heal.

Anne jumped with the startle, then realized it was just Asako. "Oh, hey! I made lemonade and some cheese-and-ham sandwiches. And I have chestnut cookies I baked this morning." She wasn't sure the girl would eat normal human food, but she hadn't given her any indications either..."Is that ok?" She asked as she made everything float smoothly to the table with a simple glance.

"Hello Ax, Comet." Jonas noted the mask, "We can explore now, Rhm, I have nothing to unpack." After a short pause he added, "And Rajir took no offence, he understands that it is your nature. Although, I would like to see my room first." At that Jonas turned to the only unoccupied room in their dorm. Upon entering, he glanced around, noting the size, shape, and furnishings of his new room. The only other action he took was to go straight to the window and opened it. Rajir entered immediately. This is where you shall meet me. We can also meet outside, when no felines are around. You understand. After this thought was relayed to Rajir, Jonas exited the room. "Shall we?"

"Sure!" Rhm turned toward the door, than turned back to Jonas. "I think with Pan here... I could be OK if Rajir wanted to come. If we're going to be roommates, then I need to get used to your familiar eventually, and now's as good a time as any."

"Is axe coming too? I want it to be ok with both of you before I call Rajir. And how, exactly, did you guess he was my familiar? Wait, nevermind, I spoke for him. Alot of people have ignored that, thinking I was scitzo, ((I have no clue how to spell that.)) I should have realized you would understand." That comment was finished with a little wink, after which Jonas turned to Ax for an answer.

The car jerked abruptly and stopped in front of a dense forest that lay on the outskirts of the town. There were three people in the car, the two in the front seats were older and were the parents of the one in the back. Before the car had slowed completely the boy had jumped from the back seat. His blond hair bobbed upwards briefly and then dipped back down into the car. A suitcase seemed to topple out of the car and land on the grass laden ground. The young man stood up again and started ironing his wrinkled blue shirt, which said O'neill - a surfing brand - with his hands.
A feminine voice floated out into the still air from the open car window. "Jake, honey, you need to leave behind your cell phone." The woman had a motherly tone to her voice because after all, she was this kid's biological mother.
Jake sighed deeply. He and his parents had had conversations about his not being able to bring along modern technologies to school. It had to do with polar opposites or something... Jake delved his hand into his pockets and wrenched out his cell phone. But before he threw it back into the car he flipped open the cover to check the time. 1:18 "You said 1:24 right?"
This time the father answered; he was already out of the car and was striding towards his son. "You are correct. The gate opens at 1:24." He stole a glance at the watch on his left hand. "So, we've got five minutes. You know where to go?"
Jake surveyed the trees looking for the two that looked out of place. Finally his eyes fell upon a pair that were an unnatural distance apart in relation to the rest of the forest. The unlikely pair were also light browns; a little too light to be an actual tree. "Those two, right?" Jake asked without looking at his father.
"Yes. Yes, you're right. That's where the portal opens up." He looked at his watch again. "You've got two minutes left, boy"
By now Jake's mother couldn't stand it anymore. She leapt out of the car and embraced her youngest son. "Promise me you'll good? And you'll write of course." She gave a hysterical little laugh and pulled back. "You will won't you?"
Jake had been surprised at the sudden onslaught, but replied nevertheless, "Of course I'll write, and would I ever be bad?" A mischievous grin played across his lips.
Jake's father slapped him on the back, "You'll do well, and make sure you keep up on your studies alright?"
"Yea, yea got it. Keep up on my studies." He said absentmindedly as he stooped down to retrieve his trunk from the ground. "What's the time? I don't wanna miss my 'ride.'" Jake turned back to the forest and took a few steps towards the mass of trees. Unsuspectingly he threw his foot backwards; it hit the car door and it slammed shut. Nobody took notice. Jake was searching the forest for the peculiar trees, "Dad" was looking at his watch and Jake's mother was just leaning against the car.
Jake's father looked up and announced, "1:24. Better get going now... You've got one minute." Jake's eyes had just fallen on the two specific trees he had been looking for, but he wasn't looking at the trees; he was looking at the glimmer of light that would occasionally shine.
"Bye! I'll write, promise!" Jake was running pell-mell for the gate. As he got closer and closer the shimmers of light grew more and more frequent. A few twigs snapped along the way and thorn bushes clawed at Jake's legs and shorts. He stopped short of the portal that led to the said "Faerie." What will it be like? Will it be different? What's going to happen? What if I don't like the school? What if everyone thinks I'm weird? Questions bulleted through his mind as he stood there. He didn't even realize the tingling sensation coursing through his body signaling the arrival of his soul-buddy. Jake felt a push on his rear and went hurtling through the trees.
Swirling cosmic displays of light flashed around. They were so bright that they hurt. Jake was spinning around as if he were revolving around an invisible object. Before the boy knew it he started to fly backwards; he was no longer weightless. Gravity had kicked back in and he was falling, falling, falling for the ground. With a "Whoosh!" the air was pushed out of Jake's lungs and he lay, having landed on his back, staring up at the cloudless sky looming overhead.
Slowly the muscles in Jake's body tensed up and the young man raised up into a sitting position. A flowing black shadow slashed through Jake's vision, but he didn't flinch at all he knew who it was. I thought you'd never show up.
The response came back just as soon as Jake had 'spoken.' It came in a silky smooth voice that seemed to also have a low guttural part to it. I thought the same of you. You almost didn't go through the portal.
Playing on Jake's lips was a smile. That was you wasn't it?
Indubitably. The black fox strode fluidly in front of Jake. There were deep, royal purple colored tufts of fur sitting aloft the foxes ears. Another one of those tufts engulfed the tip of his bushy tail. Are we gonna make our way towards the school are just lay on the lawn awaiting God knows what?
"Well I guess we could work our way towards the school then, Anko..." Jake said, unintentionally switching to voiced speech. He stared past his Familiar and noted the location of his suitcase. He lifted himself to his feet with difficulty - because of his wonderful falling act from the sky.
Jake was striding across the lawn, suitcase in had, with Anko smoothly following on his heels. Students milled around outside, talking, laughing. They all seemed to be making friends. Jake didn't bother trying he was only focused on settling in at the moment. The boy snapped back into realization as he realized that he wasn't walking on grass anymore. He glanced down confused that he hadn't noticed before, but he was also ascending! He was on a simple set of stone stairs that led up into the building.
Anko scampered ahead and pushed the door open with his nose waiting for his friend to follow him inside. They both headed inside, but as Jake crossed the threshold he felt his hand slip on the suitcase he was carrying. He kept walking forwards but his free hand helped to reposition his trunk. He saw past his trunk and noticed the carpet that he was now walking on. He looked up to take in more of his surroundings. The place was utterly amazing. Students stood around in clusters chatting. A few doors scattered the walls accompanied by their fellow windows that led to the grounds. His jaw dropped in awe. "This place is huge!" he whispered loudly to his fox.

Allison Weber stood in front of her dorm room, staring at the door, grinning. She put her key in and opened the door. She stepped into the room and looked into the dorm. Her eyes lit up. "This is so much better than the human realm!" She grinned, and skipped over to the bed that didn't have bags on it. She set her forest green luggage by the bed. She sat on the bed, and gasped. The bed was as soft as a cloud, and twice as heavenly. She flopped down, her head hitting the pillow. "Wow." she whispered in awe.

[[oops, forgot to describe her]] Her faded green hair spread out around her, and her small green wings were poking out through the holes in the back of her clothes. Allison stared at the ceiling, where various constellations were painted realistically. "I'll love it here." She grinned.

acarian slowly walked to the front door and looked up at the huge castle. "hmm, the roof will be a good hangout," he thought to himself as he stared at the building. being a human/dragon, he could easily access all places in the school from the outside. he saw other students walking up to the building, but he ignored them. "who needs other people?" he said quietly to himself as he walked into the building. seeing a teacher handing out cards he walked over to her. "name please?" she asked. "acarian," i replied. "whats it to you anyways?" "well, so i can give you what you need to live and get around in this school," she said. "thanks, i managed to get out." "boy, this is going to be one hell of a year," he thought bitterly.as he was walking to his room. room M102, this is it. as acarian entered the room, he had to admit he was impressed with the room, but decided to go on the roof. he threw his suitcase on the bed, opened the window, jumped out, spread his wings, and flew onto the roof.

(( where is Ax?? also, i'm pretty sure your character said he was your familiar, but i haven't gone back to look so we'll go with your explanation ))
"Oh I doubt he would mind. He's human after all," Rhm shrugged, "But just the same, I guess it's only polite to ask."
"Do you want to come or stay in the room?" he thought to Pan. Normally he just spoke to her, since her responses sounded like speech to him anyway, but he had just met these guys and was trying to be as polite as possible, especially since he had almost made one of their familiars into lunch. Well, he doubted if he would have eaten it, but man did he really want to chase it. Pan considered it, then said, "No, I better come with you. Besides, I want to see this fortress of a school, too."
(( i know Ax isn't really human, but there's no way right now of Rhm knowing that ))

feeling bored, acarian decided to fly around and check out the other dorms. looking into M101, he saw 3 guys, all around his age. "the guys dorms are boring. i should check out the girls," he thought. flying over to F101, he peered inside, and his jaw dropped when he saw her. she had a gorgeous figure, hair, and eyes to match. he accidentally tapped the glass with his wing. worrying that they might have heard the sound, he shot up as fast as he could to the roof, hoping he hadnt been heard.

Allison had decided she needed fresh air. The air in this realm is so nice, She thought. She opened up the window and stuck her head out. She so dearly wanted to fly, but her wings weren't large enough yet to support her body weight, but the breeze on her face was enough.

Turin slowly walked up to the large gate at the front of the large Estate.
"This place is really nice..." he thought to himself, "I just hope they won't run me out, like everywhere else I've been."
He glanced up at the burning sun overhead, and squinted. He didn't like it very much, although he wasn't effected by it.
He turned, and his red hair- cut at shoulder length- swirled as he walked insinde the gate to the Artemis Moon Acadamy, as his white skin gleamed in the light.
