Murder is the illegal killing of one human being by another. I never said animals were humans , I said their lives were important too. biggrin
No, you said that we are no better than them. Which means that by your views, morally, killing the spider was murder.

Saying that we're not better than them doesnt make em human or anything, so the term is still incorrect, but sure, its muerder, i did felt bad after killing it.

Now what? blaugh
If we're not better than them (which we are) then they, while not physically the same, would be essentially the same.

sure, i thought we were over that point, i said it was murder, now what?

I don't agree with it.
It's an animals, and it has thoughts and free will of it's own. We shouldn't have to subject it to torture. And how do we know if it hurts the animal? We don't. And animals react differently to chemicals than humans. Why don't they test them on death row prisoners? It would show more accurate results, and they would be doing one thing to help humanity.
Just because humans think they are above animals, doesn't mean they are.

Have you ever killed an insect or any other type of bug?
User ImageUser ImageUser Image

That's completely different. That is accidental and doesn't "help humanity"
with animal testing, we are PURPOSEFULLY subjecting the animals to it

no. i haven't

We are selfish-based animals
crawling across the earth, but
'cause we've got brains, if we try really hard,
we can usually aspire to something that is
less than pure evil.

You make it sound as if animals don't reap anything from animal testing.
You do make a good point. Animals do reap from animal testing.

Exactly test animals for animals, test humans for humans, i never said dont cure animals, i said dont kill animals for humans.

(Im obviously Rockula on my mule rolleyes )

Not all testing animals die.

But what I meant was, in the process of saving humans, the animals themselves will be saved.
