"After being in this school two years now, there's not much that can scare me," Sorow said with a polite smile and crossed his arms over his chest. "My name is Sorow," he said bowing his head to her and lift it back up slowly. He moved back to the counter and checked if she had dropped anything else out. "That looks like that's all she dropped, if you guys need anything else, just ask around for me and I'll do my best to help in any way." He did not really tell her where he would be headed, since he didn't like anyone knowing what he did in his spare time.

Quickly, he ordered a small breakfast for him, enough to pass the time for him to head into the music hall where he could finally get to work on his new song.

Stella laughed in response. "Okay, thanks. I'll make sure she gets this." Then she frowned. "Your name makes me sad. It's so much like the word sorrow."

The weight of the notebook in her hand made her remember her task, and she smiled. "I'm sorry. I'm just being silly. Well, I've got to run! Have a nice morning!"

Did he notice I avoided using his name? As she jogged down the mostly empty hallways, Stella cringed. I hope I wasn't too rude.

Mitsie was just laying on her bed, thinking, and hating herself. "If I hadn't been staring at that boy, this never would've happened." She said to herself as she pouted. "And now, I've lost my sketchbook."

After awhile, she decided to stand up and take a shower. She loved taking a nice warm shower after something stressful happened. She slowly undressed and stepped into her bathroom, closing the door behind her. She then heard the small fox whimpering as it stood in front of her. She knelt before the fox and stroked his fur softly. "It's alright Kikaro." After she said this, she sighed, and opened the door for the fox to leave the bathroom. She was hoping he didn't tear anything up, she didn't think he would. Once he left, she stepped in and let the warm steam fill her head.

Sorow looked at the time, it was already 10:30, and it would take him five minutes to head to the music room. He'd only stay there at least a good half hour, enough to give him some time to play around with the music, and get rid of that urge to finish something.

Pushing the last piece of toast past his lips, he got up, paid for his meal and headed out of the lunchroom and into the halls. Sorow passed the left hall, headed up the stairs and began heading towards the art rooms, where he looked inside the empty music room and pushed the door to close behind him.

This was his sanctuary, a place to clear his thoughts and express himself how he felt fit.

After a few bright remarks and overdue compliments later, Stella was happily walking away from the office with the necessary information. It was almost ridiculous how eager the secretaries behind the desks were for sincere human contact. They would probably commit a robbery with the right amount of kind words.

Stella merrily skipped down the long corridors, glancing now and then out at the sunny courtyards. Maybe I will finally make a friend! she thought enthusiastically.

Several hallways of skipping later, she arrived at room 120, wiggling with apprehension as she lightly knocked on the door. With her other hand, she had the notebook in a death-grip, trying to release some of her pent-up exuberance. Out of sheer excitement, she tapped the door again, hoping that someone would answer.

After several minutes of no one answering, Stella had an epiphany. Perhaps the girl was so startled from before that she wouldn't answer the door, somehow knowing it was her. Stella's hopeful smile drooped and she carefully set the sketchbook on the ground, sliding it half-way under the door. Then she walked away, wondering what to do with herself.

Mitsie shut off the water, and stepped out softly onto the cold tile floor. She wrapped a towel around herself, combed her hair, and then stepped out of the bathroom. She was surprised to see Kikaro, curled up on her pillow. He was sleeping peacefully. She sat on the floor, and looked around the apartment.

She saw something by the door, and decided to investigate. "Oh my god!" She shrieked as she picked up her sketchbook, and hugged it tightly. She wondered who had brought it by, she hoped it was that boy. She popped her head out of her dorm, looking up and down the hall. Suddenly, she spotted that girl that had jumped at her in the cafeteria. "Hey!" She yelled down the corridor, "Hey! Were you the one that brought back my sketchbook?" As she waited for an answer, she sighed softly to herself.

Sorow sat there at the Piano, his fingers gracefully tickling the keys, bringing out music from each and every one of them. Sorow's music was somber, and often would make someone think of cold December nights, or heartbroken feelings left out in the cold rain. True, Sorow wasn't normally as morbid as his music, but his heart felt something empty in it, ever since his freshman year. His eyes remained closed as he touched the piano, bringing out a melody that echoed within the walls of the empty room. Each note that left the piano, bounced through every wall and came right back to his ears, soothing him so.

Hutsumi quietly stalked into the room where piano music was flowing from. "It sounds like you need somebody to sing along to that." She said in a seductive voice, sexy and low, drawn out and slow. Almost like she was hesitant with each word that dripped with sugar.

"Might I try...?"

She took a few steps forward and leaned up against the piano. We could be an awsome team..."

Sorow hadn't heard the girl come in, he was far too involved with his music to pay any attention. It wasn't till he heard a woman's voice and had seen a feminine figure approach him that he gasped, hit all the keys at once and almost fell off the bench. Both of his golden eyes met the young girl who leaned over and spoke in a soft tone, asking to sing along to his music.

"Uh, well, I umm... You see, I, err, I didn't plan any vocals in my music, and, I'm not even sure what I am playing." He was nervous, he had never had someone walk in on him while he was playing. His eyes shift back and forth and he scratched the back of his head, trying his best to come up with something else to say then stuttering.

"You seem nervous," She smirked. "But I can't possibly see why." She ran a hand through her hair. "Just play. I'll sing." She gave puppy eyes. "Unless you don't like my voice..." Hutsumi had been in the choir concert last night and had totally stolen the show. Constantly fishing for compliments, the girl acted as if the male population didn't adore her.

She sat on the piano, and, being so light, she hadn't made a sound. She crossed her legs. "Come on," She said, leaning forward and looking deep into his eyes. "What've you got to lose?"

He stopped for a second, then looked over at her, and then to the piano beneath him. He had nothing against her voice, but that had been a bit against him for wanting to be alone.

Giving her a nod, he began to play, nervous fingers hit keys in the right way to give a tone that echoed, and held the right amount of time. His eyes wandered to the girl, how would she sing to a song she didn't even know?

After letting the intro play out she began to draw her voice out, singing with it.

"How great I am,
Gotta tell myself yeah 'I'm the man'
Looks grim right now,
Pretty soon we'll be laughing about it,
Oooh, it's alright...
Yeah it is, I swear you'll see,"

She smiled at him as she took in another breath. She liked the sound of it.

"Yeah, it's alright...
Cause I've always got my family of me.
It's not a first,
Might be the last,
I'm pretty sure I've been through worse,
Ooh, it's alright...
I've gotta paddle and a creek,
Yeah, it's alright...
Cause I've always got my family...
of me."

She let him end the song. "See,it's not so bad."

"No, not bad at all. Least to say I am surprised someone could sing lyrics to a piece which originally had no lyrics, and you've never heard before." He stopped for a moment and placed his hands down at his side, looking over at the girl and gave a nervous smile before staring back at the window and took a deep breath, trying to figure out what to do next.

Mitsie just stared down the hall, watching the girl that was had her backed turned. "Maybe it wasn't her..." She thought to herself. She felt bad about how she had freaked out, but she was angry at the girl. She was angry because now, that boy probably thought she was a fool.

She sighed softly, and gloomily. "I hope I see him again, soon." She thought, still waiting for the girl to turn and answer her.

Tazitia walked into the highschool a bit more quietly then she was used to, but hey..she was new here, so she shouldn't make a commotion that quickly. She figured it wouldn't take long before someone came and talked to her, she stood out quite a bit due to the fact she had fairly large, green fairy wings. "I wonder what room i'm in...", she knocked herself on the head a couple of time but no luck, she couldn't remember.
