I'm training myself to like heat so that i can wear a full body fursuit and not feel hot. .......... It's failing miserably, i still hate heat as much as I always have.

I've trained to deal with this desert heat in general. ......if this wasn't a turbo desert, then it would have been mission freakin done.

This morning at 1145 hours Pacific Time, there was an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 on the Richter scale, approximately 26 miles away from my current location.
At first I was like, "Hey, why are you stomping on the ground." Then the second relatively large roll hit and the whole class immediately went into emergency duck and cover mode. We were watching Saturday Night Live at the time so we were laughing our heads off while the earthquake continued for about 10 to 12 seconds. lol. Recorded tape of course of Presidential Bash 2000.

oooo! there was an earthquake here a while back. I was asleep. And a deep sleeper. But mom and dad and my sister and several people at school felt it.

A bit sad but it IS real life and IS news. My great grandmother died last Sunday. she was 98yrs old. Now I'm great grandparentless. :'-(
