picknslap I don't listen to to much Black, but I like Emperor alot, and I guess cradle of filth, But they are this (***) close to becomeing corporate mainstream black metal. and when that happens I expect a big change in sound, which is bad. Or is it that Cradle in not Black Metal? Yep, thats it. 3nodding

cradle just...blech. they and dimmu borgir were the first black metal bands i got into. then i realized that cradle just kind of...really really sucked. and dimmu is good except for the last two albums (puritanical whatever whatever and death cult armageddon). as i got into better stuff, i dropped COF.

MMMM well, actually I own Cruelty And The Beast by Cradle of Filth, it's their MOST AMAZING album ever released !! I don't like the new material though... Borknagar is awesome! Hmm, you guys should check on Hollenthon, that's a great great band ! And also Graveworm, melodic black metal top of the crop ! domokun

technical_difficulties MMMM well, actually I own Cruelty And The Beast by Cradle of Filth, it's their MOST AMAZING album ever released !! I don't like the new material though... Borknagar is awesome! Hmm, you guys should check on Hollenthon, that's a great great band ! And also Graveworm, melodic black metal top of the crop ! domokun cruelty and the beast is good....but it aint their best....dusk and her embrace is their best...but yeaa...cradle of filth is now epic goth metal.... i hate damnation and a day. as for dimmu...dimmu borgir i believe is still very good. though their older works are much better(STORMBLAST!!!!) DCA was a pretty good album in my opinion...abbath sings in 2 of their songs...track 2 and 11 and track 2 is pretty good....though i think they should play a little less symphony....nontheless...thank god it wasnt a damnation and a day.....
