Lily laughed, "Not all that mushy stuff!" She rolled on her back. Truthfully she loved love stories, and the whole scenario of finding your true love ached her heart.
Grayson laughed. He wriggled out from under her, and backed away, crouching down and giving out a playful growl. "Maybe I should try on you.."

Narcissa laughed. "I'm certain I'm not easily mezmerized!" she streached out and watched his tail. "but give it your best."
Gambit laughed. "Nah she wouldn't let me touch her...no mushy here"
Rogue huffed. "I'm not without reason..."

Her smile wavered. "Mind if I ask?"
Brook rolled her eyes, and ignored the conversation.
Grayson sat up and slowly started to wave his tale slowly back and forth.

Rogue frowned. "I...I can't touch people without somethin bad happenin to them...it's like...like I suck the life out of 'em...but not on purpose!"
Gambit frowned and sat up. "Relax Cheri no one can blame you for what happens..."
Narcissa watched quietly for a long moment before swaying slightly with the motion.

Lily looked at them sadly, her ears drooping. "Oh, I'm so sorry."
Brook finally got tired of the idle chatting she jumped off of the counter, and wandered around.
Grayson smirked before he placed one step forward, his tail still swaying on the floor,

Rogue flushed. "Don't be...It's alright...I just have to be careful...and I try really hard to be careful, I don't wanna hurt anyone."
Gambit nodded quietly watching Lily and hoping she would understand, he figured Rogue really did need some company besides him.
Narcissa swayed and watched his tail her own flicking out.

Lily smiled and nodded. "I can imagine. Sucking the life out of someone doesn't sound like it'd be fun to watch."
Grayson then pounced on Narcissa, "Seems like it does work." He said, laughing.

Rogue nodded. "Not much fun to feel either..." she relaxed slightly as she noticed Lily wasnt running off in terror or anything.
Narcissa gave a yelp of surprise before laughing. "That was...amazing I wanted to jump but it was like...I was frozen in place...I could feel my muscles twitching..." she smiled and batted at his tail curiously.

"Were your born with that...curse?" She asked, not being able to come up with a better word.
"Hmm..." Grayson sat up, "maybe I should take up a job as a psychiatrist." He laughed.

Lily nodded, and thought for a minute. "Well, at least you know how you can avoid the 'sucking'. In a way, you've learned from it." She smiled, trying to come up with something good about the ability.
"Either that or one of those people that make others look stupid." He laughed.

Rogue nodded and looked down at her gloved paws. "It was a hard lesson, but yeah I learned it..." She forced a smile and looked at Lily. "Thanks for not...freaking out on me."
Gambit watched quietly for a moment before slipping off quietly to let Rogue establish her own friendships, feeling better that Lily was being so nice.
Narcissa laughed and streached out. "I'm sure you would be very good at it either way." She batted at his tail.

Lily shrugged. "Well, it's not like all of us don't have a strange ability." She said, her smile fading softly. "I have a little power of my own." She said as she looked down to her paws, not knowing to expect from the two.
Grayson smiled and sat up tall, poofing out his chest. "I guess I could be huh?" He was proud of himself. He had been able to impress a female. Now that was hard, especially for an oddity like him.

Narcissa gave a serious nod watching his tail with an intruiged smile. "Yes indeed..." She sat back up slowly her tail and dress brushing back as she ran her paw up her cheek and back to flick her pale hair over a shoulder.
Rogue looked at Lily curiously. "Oh?"
