Shock stared at the boy, aghast. "You're...not a rock star anymore?" Indeed the news had failed to reach the thief audio's ears. He hadn't had much time for listening to music of late.

"Erm....I'm sure someone will...eventually."Again, the youth avoided mentioning Lou. For one, he wasn't even sure Lou would pay any amount to get him back...in fact it was rather doubtful. Besides, he didn't need this stranger knowing he was owned in that way anyway. Sighing, Demy lifted a paw to idley play with his collar tag.

Eventually? Great! Now he was gonna be stuck with the kid. "Well if you want to get outta here, I suggest you start coming up with some names..." Stashing the loot from today's exploits, he sat down heavily on the couch. Once there, the thief carefully removed his shock units and inspected them for any repair needs.

Shock growled a bit. Setting his units aside, he stood and wandered off to the kitchen to get something to eat, grumbling about self-important people being a pain in the a**.

Even as Shocker left him alone, Demy made no effort to escape. Instead, the guitarist shut his eyes and simply relaxed. No reason to try and run out yet...it wasn't like he really had an idea where he was, and it'd just make the other bring out those strange weapons again.

Shock returned a moment later, a large cheesy slice of pizza in hand. Flopping down, he flipped on the large flat screened TV and settled in, ignoring the boy for the moment.

Ears swiveled as the robber turned on his TV. Rousing himself from his rest, Demy sat up enough to eye the TV. "Heh...see yourself on there yet? I'm sure someone's heard of your little robbery by now..."

 Shock only smiled, flipping to the news. "--ocker has robbed yet another bank in the uptown district," the news audio reported, displaying a camera shot of the crook taken from the bank. "In addition, it seems he has taken a hostage--Demy Stardust, former lead singer of the Electric Oreos. The police are releasing no further information, but we'll bring you full coverage as the story develops. Diane--"
