Vena smiled at Kriss when he smiled at her. Then as she settled into 0ehr arms again she felt the warmth generate from their body heat. She looekd over at Sia, she seemed to be lookig off to were Tarik and Aeildial had gone. Looking at Kriss, she noted he was doing the exact same. Shifting her bright blue gaze, Vena looked off into the distance were their two companions had gone off too.

Words of a young, but wise taur reached the ears of the semi-concious harpy. Though she was unable to move or speak back, so she just took the words as comfort. She was then aware of being picked up carefully. The arms were strong and careful. Her wings were placed on her chest to keep them from getting damaged along with her tail. She thanked mercy that these taur weren't going to harm her.

Tarik had picked up the harpy and looked at her. She was merely a child, he wondered how she managed to get this far flying. He also wondered what she was flying from. "She's young, and as light as a bird." He then mentally kicked himself, of course she was light, how else would she be able to fly.

He then looked at Aeildial, "Let's take her back to camp and see if we can't help her." He turned to go and headed back, though he waited up so the pygme unitaur could keep up.

The young taur's eyes had wandered a bit in the long moments they had been waiting. Vena was now watching the same place they all were, but Kriss was getting restless. He was curious about his new group and began wandering around the fire again. Sia was looking anxiously into the distance, and Tarik had yet to return. He saw the flower wreath the Aeildail had left behind and delicately picked in up with both of his small hands. He draped it over one arm, wearing it like a sash, before taking a seat in front of the fire, again facing off in the common direction of the apprihensive group, awaiting the return of their missing two.

Sia looked at Kriss and smiled. Then she retutrned to staring out at the spot where her two friends had went to.
Aeildail nodded her heaad and starteed to gallop toward everyone and soon started to run toward them. She was surprisingly fast for someone of her size.

Setting at a simple trot, Tarik came to the came in only a matter of minutes. He camed up to camp, his shadow looked odd because he was holding the child in his arms. He stepped into the light and they all could see the feathery child in his arms and the sad look on his face. "She's not dead." He spoke in only a whisper.

Stepping fairly close to the fire he laid her down, careful to move her far enough away from the fire she had no worries of being burnt. "Do any of you know what she is?"

Vena stared wide-eyed at the feathery creature. Standing up she slowly edged over to the creature. "So this was what you all noticed." She spoke quietly afraid she was jsut sleeping now and not still unconcious. She placed the back of her hand on the child's forehead. "She's not feverisdh, which is a good thing." She said with a confident nod. "I've heard of her race, but the name escapes me. I am pretty sure it starts with an 'H'." She poke, trying to think of the word while keeping an eye on the child harpy.

The young harpy was almost concious, but she couldn't respond yet. Though she felt herslef being placed down by a warm presence, and a hand being placed on her forehead. Though she couldn't shudder at the warmer skin touching her cooler skin. She just laid there, praying this unawkeness would end soon.

As he watched the Tarik returning with Aeildail, Kriss ran up to meet them, surprized to see the concern on their faces regarding a strange feathered being in the large taur's arms. Vena came over as it was carefully laid on the warm ground by the fire.

The curious little taur couldn't stay away from the mysterious being that had joined the group. He peeked at her from under Vena's arm, trying to get a closer view. Kriss lowered his head to the young visitor, sniffing at her gently while still trying to keep his distance. "Why doesn't it wake up?" He asked in a whisper only because everyone else was, but secretly he wanted to give the strange bird a shake.

After a moment of staring at the seemingly sleeping child, Kriss removed Aeildail's wreath and lay it across her folded wings, as if to decorate the girl. He nodded his head a bit and lay down facing her, watching for her to stir.

Sia stood up and walked over to the rest of the group. She looked down and saw the tiny feathered girl, she gasped. She had never seen anything like her before, for Sia it was a bit startling.
Aeildial looked at the harpy girl then at Kriss,"She doesn't wake because she must of fallen out of the air or something. So when she landed she could have done something to harm herself."Aeildial spoke to him in a whisper.

The harpy gave a twitch, showing she was slowly coming to. Her nose wrinkled a little as it seemed she smelt something. It was the smoke from the fire. She slowly blinked her eyes a few times, only to stare in shock at all the other.....creatures around her. She didn't say anything, afraid of what their reaction would be. Taking deep breaths she watched them carefully.

Vena's eyes grew wide as the feathered girl before them awoken, "She's awake," she spoke gently trying not to frighten the harpy as she pointed out the painfully obvious. She smiled kindly to the feathery girl, "You alright?" she asked, hoping the answer to be yes.

At her awakening, Tarik stood up and backed away a little bit, "No sense in me crowding her," He smiled. Looking around he watched for any threat that could harm the group. He was the self-appointed watch/gaurd for the group, jsut because he couldn't bare the thought of not protecting his friends, or young ones of any race. Though his green gaz always looked back to the harpy to make sure she was ok too.

Despite wanting to do everything Tarik did, Kriss leaned in for a closer look at the feathery girl. He blinked back at her before thinking of something to say. He spoke in a whisper out of habit. "Hi there, can you talk?" He was tensed up in case the small being ended up being dangerous, but his curiousity held him there.

A whisper came back to the young foxtaur, "Yes, I speak." She blinked a few times, still unsure of where she was and what had happened. Though she was fairly certain these weren't other harpies here, but landtaurs. Blinking a few more times her eyes cleared in vision and she could certainly see that these were landtaur. There was a small one speaking to her, a larger one sitting beside as if to guard her, what if they knew? She doubted it still.

Looking at the tall hoofed taur that was bright white and orange, she could see hte shock on her face. By the looks of slight shock on all of their faces, ((she can't see Tarik, he's too far away.)) it seemed as those none of them knew exactly what she was, even......no.....there was a unitaur. Feather's winged hands moved lightning fast up to her face as she seemd ot suddenly start crying, rolling over so her back was turned from Aeildial. Feeling the shame of what her race had done to the unitaur's race heavy upon her shoulders.

His eyes grew even wider when he heard the bird speak. Kriss took a small step back but watched her close as her eyes moved around the group of surrounding taurs. He started to relax as her gaze shifted from face to face so he moved a little closer to her again.

Suddenly the small taur was surrounded with feathers, causing him to fall backwards before realizing it was only a wing from the bird girl. She had covered her face, but he didn't know why. "I'm sorry if I scared you." Worried, he looked up at Sia and Vena. "What did I do?" He asked in a small voice, again unsure of himself around the strange creature. His small paws brushed the dirt, kicking up the dust as he moved over to Vena's side. He glanced over to Tarik but couldn't keep his eyes from wandering back to the feathered girl in front of him. He noticed Aeildial staring at the girl too. "Do you know what scared her?"

Aeildial's eyes narrowed, and for the first time she looked bitter,"No."She said as she turned around and walked over to the oposite side of the fire. Her back faced the rest.
Sia gave Aeildial a worried glance. She kneeled downbeside the harpy."Don't worry Kriss, you did nothing wrong." She looked back at the girl and placed her hand on the girl's shoulder,"Are you okay?"She asked in a calm voice. She had no idea what she was.

Vena looked in shock at the sudden movements of the young taur. She gasped a little, her eyes going wide with the unknowing of what to do in response to the girl's motions.

At the sound of crying, Tarik took a step closer, making sure to stay away, but wondering who was crying and what might be causing the person to fret. Though, from his angle he was unable to see the one who had tears running thown their face.

The harpy shook her head a little bit trying to clear her mind, she then realized that none of them knew what she meant, other than, well her. Turning her face back, she shook her head at Aeildial. As if trying to apologise without saying a word.

Gaze turning to face the other two she wiped away her tears and caught her breath. "I'm alright." she spoke, voice quiet and uncertain, one eyes always watching the unitaur incase she turned hostile.

Despite Sia's comfort, Kriss was still frowning after Aeildial. Her subtle actions didn't go as unnoticed as she hoped. He almost moved to approach his friend, but hesitated when he sensed her unspoken temper.

Turning back to the sobbing little harpy, he quickly scuffled out of her razor sharp line of sight to the unitaur, not wanting to be in the path of such feelings. He was curious about their relationship to one another, but held back his questions.

Remembering Tarik's first action towards himself when they met, Kriss lowered himself to the ground at a safe distance from the nervous Harpy. Her vulnerability made him feel apologetic, though he was quite unsure why.
