"Plays?" Trina asked, looking baffled. He wrote plays? Why-? Then she watches River climb a shelf, her earlier wondering about reaching books answered. "Edgar Allen Poe?" Trina repeated, taking the book and looking down at it. The grim expression makes her pause. "Is something wrong?" She asked, still holding the book. She intended to look at it, she was curious.

"I have been well." He replied, voice very soft, like he had known River to always prefer it. Daniel looked to the book she had set down, and smirked a ltitle bit. "Shakespeare, hm? Do you have any particular authorship theories? I'm a Stratfordian, myself." Sitting back a bit comfortably, he sipped at the tea again.
((Now you've done it, Mercy! You knwo I'm a Shakepsearian nut-case!))

Trina blinked at Daniel, utterly clueless to anything he had just said. She looks to River, hoping her response would decode whatever Daniel had asked.

[[-giggles-]] "Not really, Daniel, I've been well though." She sported a small smile looking at Trina. No point in lying if she trusted Daniel enough with the information. "It's a layout for the growth of a heart for my frail body. It's really old." She said picking the worn file up with distaste and looking down at the book. "To the River--Edgar Allen poe. A scientist used to read that poem to me every day.." She murmured softly gazing at the book, the poem listed down the page in the correct format.

Daniel made a small shrug. What River had said was a wise choice, for, he could have gone on for one million sticky notes explaining why Oxford made more sense than Stratford. Giving his eyes a small roll, he watched as she pointed out Edgar Allen Poe's poem. He said nothing, but remembered the literature vaguely in his head.

Trina blinked, looking at the document. Trina had a heart...one of the few similarites she had with humans, other than appearences... Hers was on her right side, and larger than a human female's would have been. Trina doesn't ask about the scientist-she knows better, it's a strange subject for her friend. Instead, she sits again, takes a sip of water, and finds the 'poem' so she can read it to herself.

"Daniel-san, What brought you to my home?" Her eyes narrowed a bit as she threw the folder away like a frisbee. Her fingers winding around the tea cup lifting it to her lips as she watched him unblinking. "...Oh, And I believe Shakespear was a wise man. Words he spoke shouldn't be wasted on Trivial manners such as wasteful papers stuffed into a drawer. Though Henry David had a point in his seemingly endless aray of essays. Romatics and Transidentalists...Never understood either of the groups logics." She sipped her tea finally blinking amazed that she remember such trivial small things like that. "I don't know about you Daniel but I am more focused on The writings of Poe, and other Poets then I am on essay writers from the eighteen hundreds." She gazed at the book as Trina looked at the poem and smiled small.

"That's very nice." She says about the poem, not venturing any other comment as she looked through the book carefully. Once her english was better...she'd be able to read things like these easier. As it was now, she didn't know every other word. The thrown folder makes Trina jump slightly, and she blinked at it in surprise, even more affirmed in her decision not to mention it. She blinks at River, whose words ceased to make any sense to her. She closes the book, then sets it carefully on the table. "People...wrote about people's writing?" She ventures, trying to understand. And then: "Why the desert River?" She asks then, curious.

Daniel listened to River attentively, sipping at his tea quietly. "I followed Miss Trina by pure mishap. Should I go?" Listening to her small speech, he nodded. "I am a fan.. But, I suppose that trying to truly absorb stories with deeper meanings form a time whose minds seem to far surpass our own closed mindedness. I've always wanted to be able to think as they once did.. I suppose.."

River nodded to Daniel, "No!" She said suddenly blinking at her suddenly sharp reply, "You can stay I don't mind..." She wanted company other then Kaden and Sasori it would be nice. This was nice because she liked these two people. " The Desert?...Because Trina the Desert if a beautiful wonderful place- I feel at home here, I have History here, The people here know and like me.." She murmured softly setting her tea cup down. "Daniel, Tell me please why did you wish to see me? You wouldn't of fallen through that mirror if you didn't seek me out first." It was an offhanded question but she wanted to know for sure.

River's sudden blunt question had caught Daniel off guard, as he tapped his chin for a moment. Laughing softly, he nodded. "I wished to speak to you. I wanted to know that I would not lose my voice again. Talking to you made sure of that, because I still lo-" He stopped, smiling at her, with a friendly sort of shine to his brown soft eyes. He Looked back down at his tea and drank some more, not wishing to say anymore on the subject.

Trina had to agree-the desert was beautiful. But a place with no water? Then she remembered that such a thing really wouldn't be a concern for River. River didn't need to go swim every once in a while...to forget. Or to rest. And sand was not fire...she was thinking of her own planet...silly of her. So Trina sips her water and stands again, wandering across the room to study book spines. It was her attempt to allow Daniel to answer River as he felt, without her over hearing him. Trina was odd like that.

River being as attentive as she was caught what he was about to say and couldn't help but lose herself momentarily in the meaning of the forbidden word. "Daniel-san, Your rose is in the vase in my room. Will it ever die?" She asked her eyes in a daze as she scanned around the thoughts in her head the words finding the correct ones to use when speaking. "...You know I don't like the Use of that word, Right? I respect you for not saying it to me. Though you are clear with your Emotions." River was very calm, mulling over words in her head, defineing them then tossing them aside."Would you like to live here with me?" She lifted her hand and scanned him her face just as blank as ever. "I may be mean-spiteful and cold at times but I could use the company. If you don't wish to spend time with something like me I understand. That emotion is hard to control." Her eyes traveled to Trina as she waited smiling softly at her. "You know- I think I have pictures of the Planet I decend from. Would you like to see them?" She had no problem with those pictures, the planet itself was a harmless memory one she was glad to share with people.

After a few moments, Daniel nodded. "If I can explain what I feel some other way... I'm not sure if that word that you speak of does my emotions quite justice. And, yes." He smiled, looking around the place. "I would love to stay here, with you."

Trina looked up at River, smiling. "Pictures? I'd like to see them..." She nods, taking another sip of water, seeming pleased to get to see pictures of River's planet. She had seen Gaia from far away...it had been beautiful. Perhaps she could find a way to record it? With...paint? Trina couldn't paint... ((Trina's never seen a camera, and she thinks photographs are crafty pieces of art! *Laughs madly*))
