lols srsly? I still can't stand CanonOC in any form XD It's like mixing two unmixy things. Bleh. But OCs bring fun to stories when they're not obnoxiously paired with a canon character XD
The odd thing is in a couple of my fandoms there is so much lack of back story and lack of interaction with characters sometimes that oc's with cannon, (good, believable OCs) doesn't seem so bad if its done right.
So i'm all for, 'Yer, we don't know much of the story and hey they could have met someone, done this, etc' but i'm still extrememly squeemish at 'they met this person who was the bestest, fastest, most beautiful, strongest, etc... who suddenly needed their help/could bring them out of depression/make them a different person.' =_=
Which is pretty much just bad writing nevermind the fact its mary-sueish.
Of course, most of this CanonOc isn't the main characters. Main characters are easily paired of with other Canon. Sometimes...
lol, talk about rant. I can only see the Beyblade characters with oc characters if its not the focus of the story though. xD
