kingpinsqeezels I feel ya on the humidity! The least bit of wetness or moisture and my hair flips out. It is so annoying when I've worked awhile to get it to lay flat. It's why I want to grow it out, so I can just put it up. My current fix for bed head or just plan laziness is a dread cap... Try having really curly hair down to your butt. It turns into a giant frizzy tentacle monster in the humidity unless I put tons of stuff in it. I don't even like straightening it anymore 'cause the slightest bit of humidity turns it into a fuzzball. I need to do something new it it though. People are bugging me about getting it styled. Right now it's just long... But I'm paranoid O.o

It took me 16 years to try to grow out my bangs (in the process of it) since I just didn't want to change anything. xp

I admit, part of the reason I love covering is because I've got a big frizzy curly red Jewfro. On a good day I'm Little Orphan Annie; on a bad day, Bozo the Clown. Covering means no one sees how wild my hair is.
I did get it straightened recently, so that has given me a whole new love of my hair. It's actually long, which I never knew before, and I like it a lot. However, I still want to cover it to keep it from getting sun bleached, wind tangled, or gritty from the city dust and grime. Like most things, it's more appealing when it's hidden and protected than when anything can come along and glare at it or when it can get all messy and dirty just by me going outside.

Yeah, my avatar's hair is usually visible. Mine isn't, in real life. Plus, I look nothing like my avatar.
I bet you do, though. You always have a bird flying over one shoulder and a big swoosh of water coming out of your hand! rofl razz wink

I told him I thought it was an Optimus Prime mask.
However, I do love V for Vendetta.

Excluding the phoenix ands stuff, yeah- one of my favorite exercise outfits is a blue tank top and black shorts.

Contrary to that popular lie about Jews having horns, I own a pair. Of course I only wear them on special occasions.
You'd probably see me wearing a skirt and a matching sweater, maybe not in those specific colors though.

I never wear skirts, unless it's for a fancy/special occasion.

This is kind of funny. My whole life I've been a tomboy. I wore only trousers, from the time I was about eight years old and had a choice until I was... well, let's just say it was about five years ago.
Once I was staying over at a friend's house for Shabbat and got some gunk on my jeans. We couldn't wash them because it was Shabbat, so I borrowed one of her skirts. Oh my goodness. The most comfortable thing EVER! As soon as I got home after Shabbat, I logged in and ordered two skirts online. A couple months later, I ordered four more, and promptly gave all my trousers to tzedakah (a charitable organization) the moment they arrived in the mail. Tomboy I may be, but as a tomboy, I am ALL about the comfort. Can I help it if people now think of me as a lady? wink

Except that with me it was waking up one day and deciding that I like the way I look, and decided that skirts are attractive on me. My boyfriend got me some hippy skirts for my birthday too, and I've decided I love them. They're modest and attractive at the same time! By the way, Divash, your avatar looks amazing!! heart

I love Divash's avatar too! SPARKLY. (I love your signature too Halcyon)
Hippy skirts are like my favorite piece of attire. I have three, but 2 of them are too big, and one is too short to really be modest. My daddy shrunk it, so now it's only knee length. Now that autumn is approaching, they should be coming back into stores alittle bit more, so I'll stock up for the rest of the year.
Long skirts are the epitome of awesome/comfort. And like Divash said, people think I look very lady like, which I can deal with. 3nodding
