ive always liked sarah jane and k9. XD i liked whenever the doctor got annoyed at a bit and was like oh do shut up k9 XDD i liked the blooper i watched where he said the f word at him rofl
martha annoys me from wot ive seen =_= she was all wants love and i dunno its just like too soon i mean chrissakes give it a bit time, huh?

i'd have to say that my favorite companions of the doctor are rose and captin jack <3 jack always seem to have a spring in his step that is hard to match. i also found K-9 be pretty cool too.

My favorite companion so far is Rose, and of course K-9!!!!! How could anyone not like him- he's so awesome!!!!!!!
And my least favorite companion is Donna. GGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! She is SO annoying!!!!!!! She's not very brave, whines about every little thing, and is shallow. The only thing she's good for is comic relief.

She is SO annoying!!!!!!! She's not very brave, whines about every little thing, and is shallow. The only thing she's good for is comic relief. Awww, I like having an imperfect character for once. D: I'm sick of all the smart, beautiful, submissive companions who adapt to things way to easily. D:

Muskratio lupine_eyes Well, I've only been watching the "new" series, but so far Rose is my favorite. She's just so... plucky. And she seemed to actually help once and awhile, rather then just playing damsel-in-distress. biggrin And I don't hate her mind- but I dislike Martha. She annoys me for some reason. I find her very whiny. neutral I liked Rose at first, but by the second season she'd really started to annoy me. I dunno, I thought she was getting really self-centered and too clingy. XD
Apart from her my favourites will have to be Captain Jack Harkness ( heart ), Ace, Jamie, and Sarah-Jane.
Least is most definately Peri. To annoying... hmm...

Also to add....You've seen Donna for like, what? An hour so far? And in that hour she finds out she's being used, lied to, attacked by robotic Santa's and Christmas tree's and is gunna be eaten by spider babies. I mean really. Would you be perfectly composed, quiet and charming? I think not.
Donna has character. The Doctor needs someone to smack him around from time to time (seeing as how he's so damn cheeky. ;D ). I think judgment on Donna should disperse till we see her in full time action.

Rose is definitely one of my favorite companions. With the occasional appearance of Capt. Jack, the scenes and episodes with Rose and the Doctor (i.e. series 2 & now the first episode of series 4), gave me the chills! They had great chemistry and I'm anxious to see what the rest of series 4 has to offer by way of Rose's appearance. heart wahmbulance

i perfered rose to martha because rose she can stand up for herself and knows what to do is if the doctor was not there while martha has to get help. plus rose and the doctor are soo cute together heart heart

I haven't really seen any of the classic episodes, so right now my favorites are Rose and Donna. biggrin [check the avi. hehehe.] I can relate to both of them and think they each have a personality. Billie and David seemed to have this amazing connection, as did Billie and Chris, so I think that made me like Rose so much. I could connect with her just being a normal girl in the right place at the right time. Donna is just hilarious. Sure, some find her annoying and loud, but I think she's great. She's a lot different and has spunk.
Martha annoys the crap out of me. Freema is a great actress, but she just seems so underdeveloped. Clearly they put her in to fill in the Rose gap, but it was just half-assed and just seemed like a filler, I dunno, just my opinon.
From "School Reunion" and what I have seen of her own series, I like Sarah Jane. It's cool to see how the companion's lives are after the Doctor. She's another reason I like Rose as well. Thanks to her Rose understood that there'd been others. Sure, in the beginning she was hurt, but I think she accepted it and felt that it was for the best since the Doctor didn't deserve to be alone.
I've also read a bit about Ace and she seems like fun! biggrin

Ace was awesome while she lasted.
I hate Adric, HATE HIIIIMMM!!!!! he caused nothing but trouble, asked to many questions, and was just plain bratty razz

I don't know, she wasn't so popular, but I liked Romana the best... She was at times a bit annoying, but she sort of understood what was going on more often than the others.
I must say, I dislike Donna. I have never found Tate to be a good comedian, and I find the character annoying, pushy, and unwilling to listen. Yes, I like Romana because she was at a similar level; but she understood. She didn't seem to say "I have no idea what's going on, and he does, but I'm going to argue with him anyway".
But I'm just an opinionated weirdo, so I don't count. xd
