Seeing as I've only seen episodes with the Ninth and Tenth Doctors, I've only got two to choose from. :[ I honestly like both Eccleston and Tennant. Although if I had to pick one, I'd go with Tennant. (I actually saw his series before the Eccleston's.) I just always loved the way he'd go off on some rant and speak really fast. It always made me laugh, and I found Eccleston didn't do that as much.
As for my favourite classic Doctor... well I can't say of course! Luckily my parents (who introduced me to Doctor Who) recorded a bunch of episodes when they were younger! (I think they have Tom Baker, Davison, and Colin Baker episodes on them.)

Tom Baker's voice = heart , in soundwave form. : D Favorite Classic Doctor: Tom Baker. I've always been a fan of the Bohemian look, and the giant scarf is The iconic sci-fi symbol. His eccentric, quirky ways meant unpredictable episodes, which were always fun. The only thing that annoys me is at the end of his run, he got the wardrobe update and the stupid Romana II. *shiver* Favorite New Who: Tennant. David Tennant. heart Yes, I am a self-proclaimed fangirl of his, and I squeal every time one of his episodes comes on. ... Oh, I'm sure you do too. Inside~Least Favorites~ Classic: Ehh, probably Paul McGann. Or Colin Baker. Haven't seen any of their air time, so I'm judging them on their wardrobe. xd New: Eccleston, obviously. Never liked the "intense" doctor... And only one season?! Please. ><; Order: Ten/Four (tie), Two, Five, Three, One, Seven, Nine, Six, Eight. P.S. I've seen eppys of every Doctor except eight and six. But I only saw seven at a MST337 performance at a convention, so I'm not sure if it counts...

I have a replica that's really well-made and I love it and wear it during winter. XD It's not Eight's fault the movie's plot sucked a**. I actually liked his portrayal of the Doctor. XD The movie did suck, though. o_O

Ooh. My favourite Doc of the Classics (in the Poll), has to be Patrick Troughton. He's a LEGEND! heart Just adorable. Close second has to be Tom Baker though, he is just so cool. Beyond cool. Amazing. Love the Scarf, Jelly Babies and crazy smile. He made the episodes unpredictable and fun - i loved it. He's regeneration into 5 will stay with me forever. Then Tennant. Okay, not Classic Series, but still made of AWESOME. He didn't half make Doctor Who more sexy.

aahh... I started with Tennant, so... so far it is Tennant.
One of these days I have to go back to the very beggining and watch through all of the episodes.
I want to see the episodes that Douglas Adams wrote.

I've finally gotten a chance to see all of the Doctors, so my favorites are Pertwee's and Davison's Doctors. Pertwee's is so fun. Plus, he had the story about the hermit and the secret of life. Davison's is cute. I like him. Seems like a decent guy.
My mom's absolute favorite is Tom Baker's, but she hasn't had much exposure to other Doctors (I've been going it alone, basically sad ). He is funny, yeah.
At least we agree on the hilarity of The ______ of Rassilon after "The Five Doctors".

Ooh, don't make me choose. I like different aspects of different Doctors, but am prone to going through mild obsessive phases with each of them depending on whose stories I've been watching. At the moment it's the Third and the Sixth (I actually can't see why more people don't like him!); before that it was the Fourth and the Second. The only Doctor I don't much care for is the Tenth.
At the moment:
Sixth & Third, Fourth, Second, Peter Cushing, First, Eighth, Seventh, Fifth, Ninth, Tenth.

I have to admit I adore Peter Davison, because I like seeing the doctor both intellegent and vulnerable. That I can dig Davison in general. I'm very fond of Pertwee and T. Baker as well, and I don't mind Tennant.
I think doc 6 is a jerk. I know they were planning on making him more likeable if Colin Baker hadn;t been let go.
In my perfect worked Davison would have stayed on for 4 or 5 seasons, and then Colin Baker would have come on and they could have developed both 5 and 6 to thier fullest potential.
Maybe if I find a Tardis......

Muskratio Which Doctor is your favorite? Why? How many Doctors have you seen serials/episodes from? Which Doctor is your least favorite? Why? Sylvester McCoy is my favorite Doctor. He seems the most balanced (and consequentially, most dangerous) of them all. He's both funny and serious, compassionate and able to make the hard choices. He didn't have a very good start, which I suspect is more to blame with the writers than him, since he was the one who wanted to portray the Doctor as darker, as they eventually did. I like how the later writers gave hints and throwaway lines that pointed to him being (forgive me) 'far more than just another Time Lord'. I also enjoyed the convoluted relationship that he had with Ace. Unlike his other companions, you can tell that she was more than just a student, tool, and pawn to him, especially when he panicked and made the stupid choices just to save her. As for how many I've seen: First Doctor - 0 of 29 Second Doctor - 1 of 21 Third Doctor - 0 of 34 Fourth Doctor - 4 of 41 Fifth Doctor - 13 of 19 Sixth Doctor - 7 of 11 Seventh Doctor - 12 of 12 Eighth Doctor - 1 of 1 Ninth Doctor - 10 of 10 Tenth Doctor - 10 of 20, plus 3 specials Least favorite Doctor? Honestly, David Tennant is my least favorite. That's not to say that I don't like him, because I do! It's just so very hard to pick favorite Doctors, when each of them brings something so different to the table. I think Ten is only at the bottom of the list because he feels the most human to me, which could be explained by having spent so much time around humans or having been separated from his own people for so long. Sure, he has his moments when he talks about humans, but in his mannerisms and such, he seems more human than anything else.

My favorite Doctor from the classic series most me Tom Baker! He was just fantastic! He was absolutely awesome!! My least favorite is number 6--aahh, I can't remember his name!
...but, now, with Eccleston I must say that it's hard to choose a favorite! In my opinion was Eccleston very very very good, he did a very good job! He's a great actor and he really moved me a lot during the (unfortunately only) 13 episodes - I would have wished he could have stayed for more seasons. I have nothing against Tennant, he's a excellent actor, but I just like Eccleston better in that character.. he had the kinda mad humor, the smile, the sweetness, the power, the "brokeness"/melancholy (as the consequenses of the Time War), and this madness/dark side that especially the Daleks could bring fourth in him.. he really was the "oncoming storm".. 3nodding
