Has it begun? the Daemon wondered to himself as he padded alongside his Linker. He gazed up at the girl, attempting to see through her joyful facade, but it was to no avail. Sakeri strolled on, oblivious to his searching eyes, and the two continued in complete silence.

They walked through the night, along the rural road. A car would pass along every once in a while, never stopping to offer a bit of help. The smug grin that adorned her face only grew with every passing car.

Can't expect much out of them anyway. she thought bitterly, tugging the folds of her jacket closer to her. As the sun rose over the gentle slopes a small town came into view. In her eyes it looked like a black stain in a beautiful field of green. Smoke curled up every chiminy and the roads stank of filth and dust. Her nose wrinkled in disgust as she passed a decaying animal, which had been killed by passing car. Flies buzzed about it, laying their eggs amongst the rotting meat. They can't even clean up their messes properly... Yes, let nature do it for you, she thought sarcastically.

The smells only grew worse when they entered the town. Smoke and car exhaust were now thrown into the mix. Heads turned as they entered the town, but it wasn't because of her. It was Amati; he was roughly twice the size of a normal wolf. He let his tongue loll out to make him seem less dangerous and wagged his tail in a docile manner.

"You don't need to make them like you, Amati," she said quietly, her own face looking just as innocent. He let out a low whine and thrust his head against her palm as though he wanted to be petted.

"Ah... but if they were all frightened of me, who would give you a room?" he whispered quietly. Sakeri let out a light laugh and ruffled his playfully.

"You've got a point, there," she said with a laugh.

At the base of a tree, huddled for warmth, he sat. He never builds fires, they remind him of the past way too much, and they may attract the attention of some lowly woodsman. That would be the worst for him. If he was lucky, he would freeze to death by morning, but he never was. As he sat there, shivering, he wondered what he would do for food tomorrow. suddenly a sweet voice called out to him. "Oh my poor baby." He lifted his head and looked around, only to find no one there. "Look what they have done to you." the voice whispered again. "M-mother?" he timidly asked the night. "All those scars." she said. Suddenly, his head was filled with the terrible childhood memories that he did not remember. His screams covered the whole mountain side. He stood to his full height, screaming and slamming into things. "You must teach them a lesson. Go to the village down there. Destroy them, that is all you must do for now." He ran at full sprint down the mountain, hoping the pain would end.

[[Be good, post, and have fun! I'll remind you to post 3 days from now, via PM if you've forgotten. Okay then, I'm off to work! 4laugh ]]

The first rays of sunlight shone upon the mountainside as the humanoid figure approached the village (I'm connecting with you, Rekinore). Despite the cold fresh air that the mountain naturally gave off from the melting of the snow on the peaks, the stench of human carcasses was strong. It came over from the north, away from the eastward town down the path.

((This is after the command of the gods))

Danian sat on a chair in his room. The Gods wanted him to destroy a whole village? Why would he do that? Did those people do something to deserve it? Not in his opinion. And therefore he would not destroy them.

But wait! He would not be the only one they send would he? In that case, he had to go. He had to do everything he could to protect those people, at all cost. He jumped from his chair, took a cookie and ran to his new destination. He hoped he could be in time.

Masaru walked quickly through the forest, gazing towards the lights of a town that she was approaching. She wasn't sure exactly which town it was, but she needed fresh supplies and her aggression had been steadily rising for the past few hours. As she emerged from the trees, something she supposed most would call strange happened.

Time for a little more destruction, she heard.

Who are you to tell me that? I'm always up for a little more destruction.

Destroy this town then. There are so many, here. So many liars. So many accusations. Destroy it.

Masaru's face darkened by the word accusations. She needed no proof. They're all the same aren't they? Blaming everyone else for their problems. She quickened her pace towards the town, already eyeing the residences to choose her first victims.

She smiled at the array of choices.

The heavily cloaked figure hit a tree and bounced off, slamming his head into another and letting out a loud moan of agony. His senses were dull, his vision blurry. All that came to his mind were the memories and the village. He slammed into another tree, knocking it over. He screamed again, and ran toward the down, ignore all obstacles in his path. His goal was clear.

Reese had finished repairs and stood up. Sensors had indicated that a strong divine event had taken place, but had now passed.
Interesting. The gods taking action... the recent arrival of unnatural creatures... is there a relation?
He went to the streets and walked.

Izzy quietly crept downstairs, makeing sure to not step on the parts of the floor board that creaked with age. She succesfully made it to the coat closet, where she carefully opened the door, and took out a denim jacket. She carefully slid it on, and walked to the door. 'so far so good..' she thought. Izzy carefully started to open the door when a voice stopped her right where she was. "and where do you think you're going Iz?" Logan asked, using a nickname to shorten her already short name. Izzy turned to face her brother. "I-I was just going out.." she said, stuttering at first, but gaining confidence quickly. "No you aren't. I am not letting you go out alone! especialy with all those killings happening!" Logan said. "well then, I guess I'm not going out at all." she said, and with that she walked right past him, and up the stairs, and down the hall to her bed room. Once in her room Izzy made sure that she had her house key, then she opened her window to the conveniently located tree just outside her window. She climbed out her window, and onto the tree. She closed the window behind herself and climbed out of the tree. She took a deep breath of "fresh" air, and started walking down the street. A soft breeze started to blow, lifting the ends of her dusty blonde hair.

[[So far, we have a total of 4 gods. 1 is fear, 1 clearly light, 1 clearly darkness, and one very strange blue one, which I have yet to name, but am leaning toward snow/cold/ice... something to that effect. I leave the last two to you. Remember, even though they do want the human race destroyed... they have their own reasons and aren't entirely horrifying humanoids. It'd be funny if one of them had a mental disorder though, like obsessive compulsive disorder or ADD.... ^_^ It'll add a flair to it. Please place the suggestions in OOC, where the last two gods will be decided!!! Take note that the gods are NPCs and can be played by all of you, should you feel the need to incite yet another destructive mission. Keep them low for now, and mainly towards keeping the earth from destruction aka sawmills and companies that mow down forests... just simple things like that. The gods are creeping up on the corporations, and eventually the government.]]

Amati's head lifted in interest toward a mountain in the distance. At its base, he spotted a peaceful village, but something felt a bit off to him.

"Sake," he called quietly to the girl, careful not to attract any attention. "Sense anything from over there?" Sakeri looked toward the once great mountain and her face contorted in anger.

"Yeah," she said, spying the heaps of smoke that covered most of the land. "They just can't get enough of anything." Amati's gaze turned toward her, spotting the hatred in her eyes. The two had never delved into their past, but he just couldn't understand where her hatred came from. He, himself, was taken in by a kind family until he felt a sudden desire to leave in search of something... Sakeri. Amati had always felt an unwavering need to protect her from something, but her never knew what it could be.

For the short time they were together, he'd constantly heard a low rumble from deep within. A rumble that would only stop when he was fast asleep. Little did he know, he had been creating a barrier between Sakeri and the gods, making it impossible to contact her unless he was asleep. To him it was simply a nuisance he endured to stay with her. He shook his head at her hopeless hatred and looked on.

"I wasn't talking about that," he said sternly. "It's something else... There's a sense of tension hanging above that place." Sakeri's eyes narrowed as she concentrated in that direction. A significant amount of time had passed before she gave an exasperated sigh and turned away, stuffing her hands in her pockets.

"Face it, Amati," she huffed. "I just don't have your sixth sense." She pulled out a few stolen credit cards and headed towards the nearest pub. Sakeri was greeted by a pleasant array of bells, when she entered, quickly followed by Amati. The place was filled with the smell of alcohol, smoke, dust, and the swet aroma of food. Clapping her hands together, Sakeri happily sat herself at a nearby stool. The bartender came up, eyeing the wolf, who had seated himself calmly on the floor next to her. He was a homely man with a fair amount of stubble and a large gut.

"Two fries, A raw steak, and a double cheeseburger!," she chirped happily. He gave an audible grunt, wiping the glass as he lumbered over to the window. His rough voice repeated her order in a guttural way before he trudged away to his next customer.

"Come on, Sake," the wolf pleaded in a strained whisper. "Can't we at least check it out?" He nudged her, whining as he flashed those sad amber eyes. A smile crept up on her face, though Sakeri struggled to keep it down. Then after a few agonizing minutes she finally gave a sigh of defeat, ruffling his mane.

"Fine," she sighed, rolling her eyes. "But, we're going to eat first." Amati leapt up in joy, wagging his tail as he jumped up to give her his great, big wolfish hug.

[[HI! Sorry for writng so much. sweatdrop I sort of got happy, writer's block, so my writing's gotten a bit choppy. Anyway! If you didn't feel like reading all that. I'm here to inform you that I'm going to hold a mini-contest! There are two open spots left for two unnamed gods. O.O Please post with your ideas in OOC. xd Have fun and be creative! Also take into account that the gods aren't evil, they're just... evil to mankind. "One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist." You may make a ditzy god or a perfectionist god. Anything, to make your roleplaying experience all the more enjoyable. 4laugh ]]

Masaru wasn't quite so happy anymore. The downside to this town's destruction, she was discovering, was where to start and not get caught. She was sure that she could take on anyone in this town, any of the lying people that would dare challenge her. But that would defeat the point, it would go too quickly. She wouldn't get to enjoy herself.

Frowning, feeling very angry and aggressive, she headed towards the largest gathering of people she could find. A place full of the lying and cheating that she so despised, but still a fine place for an oppurtunity to kill.

Besides, I need to eat once in a while, she reminded herself.

She went to the pub. Always the easiest place to find, so full of them.

"Gimme something filling. How about...some stew or something, but only if it's recent."

She took in her surroundings with interest. Her eyes narrowed as she chose her first victim. Alone. Drunk. He'll need someone to walk him home. She wrinkled her nose. Old. Too bad, he won't put up much of a fight. She knew she couldn't kill all of them one by one. But she would enjoy her first few, and she was sure they would all be dead by the next dawn.

Her stew arrived.

((Hmm... Let's just wait and see. ^_^ If there's a need for a new god to go out in the open, at least we already have two at our disposal. Anyway, I'll be gone for camping for three days.))

OOC: Ok, now let's see now what it take to kill a god huh? lol, I'm here

BIC: Edger walked down the side walkand sighed, he wished he had his cape with him on such a cold night like this. But no, the word of the day was incognito, which today meant dressing uplike some danged emo kid who thought they were awesome because they realized the goverment sucks and life isn't fair. Edger rolled his eyes and mouthed, "Yeah them..."
Although he did have to admit, at least they brought up those issues, forcing a society that doesn't like to accept them to choke on every little grimy detail.

Edger could tell you first hand life sucks...especially when some random demon descends from the heaven to obliterate your entire town and most of the people you know. Ok, well they weren't all dead, but some of them might as well be at this point. Edger folded his arms as he continued to walk down the sidewalk, dimly lit lights flickering on and off. He wanted to get back to his hotel room. But...there was a scence of death about th town, like it was huge carpet just barely hanging over ready to fall and engulf whenever it liked. Edger had a duty here, to manipulate that energy and throw it back at whatever was causing this. A flicker twitched in his head, making him nervous enough to wish he had got some other abillity and not an intimate relation with the forces of death, but that came and passed quick enough...

OOC: I'll make sure this isn't to long, but if you read this guy's profile you know pretty much most of what I posted.
