I found Mia and Ilyana also pretty cute. NEphenee would indeed be the cutest if she doesn't have her helmet. But then she wouldn't have that mysterious glare.

Micaiah
A wielder of magic, Micaiah is one of two main characters of the first part of the game and the leader of the "Part 1" army. She is a Branded, with one of her ancestors being a Heron. She becomes the captain of the Daein army and ends up fighting the Laguz army on behalf of Begnion. She sings the Galdr of Release and becomes Goddess Yune's vessel. At the beginning of Part 4's Final Chapter, Yune promotes her into a Shaman. However, like Shamans from Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu, she does not use Dark magic. If she and Sothe reach an A support they will get married.
Sothe
Sothe is one of two main characters of the first part of the game . He was the first of the Path of Radiance cast announced to return. His starting class is Rogue and also has a new skill, "Protection," which allows him to take damage for a chosen ally. Sothe is Micaiah's adopted brother (he's younger than her). He promotes into an Espion in the fourth section of the game by the power of the Goddess Yune. If Sothe and Micaiah reach an A support in Radiant Dawn they will become married.
Elincia
Elincia is the main character of the second part of the game. Her class is "Queen". Her role in the plot is to quell a rebellion in Crimea, started by corrupt nobles. Later in the game, her troops fall under Ike and Tibarn's armies. Like in Path of Radiance, she has exclusive usage of the sword "Amiti". Should she reach an A support with Geoffrey or Ike, she will marry them and they will rule Crimea together. However, seeing Ike's turnaround, the ending with Geoffrey is seen as more canonical.
Ike
Ike (the main character of Path of Radiance) returns in Radiant Dawn, as the main character of the third part of the game. His class is Hero, or Brave, and he is equipped with Alondite, which is a different sword to the one used by the Black Knight (which was called Ettard in the Japanese version). Ike promotes into Vanguard, and obtains the divine blade Ragnell. In Path of Radiance, he got this blade while dueling with the Black Knight. In Radiant Dawn, Ike finally avenges his father's death and defeats the Black Knight in a one on one duel (without the aid of Mist, unlike in the previous game) and upon the Black Knight's defeat, Ike then takes possession of Alondite. Any ally can wield Alondite if they have a SS Rank in swords, although Ike won't be able to as he has Ragnell locked to him by this point. If he achieves an A support with Elincia, they will be married and rule Crimea. If not, once the goddess is defeated and all the countries are made stable, Ike travels to another land and leaves the continent of Tellius behind forever. He is never seen again.
Mist is Ike's younger sister. She is pure of heart, allowing her the ability to touch the Fire Emblem. Her class is Cleric (Like she was in Path of Radiance). However, she fights on foot initially, and can wield both swords and staves . She also comes with her own sword, Florette.
Sanaki is the Empress and Apostle of Begnion. She is also Micaiah's younger sister. She escapes Begnion when the senate seizes control of the Empire. The senate proclaims her the false Apostle because she cannot hear the voice of the Goddess. Later she discards her Apostle name and is solely known as Begnion's Empress. Unlike her sister, she did not inherit the brand. She has a personal fire tome, Cymbeline. Her class is Empress.

Geoffrey (ジョフレ, Jofure?) is the Leader of Crimea's palace knights, and Lucia's younger brother. His class is Glory Knight. He acts as 'main character' for one chapter in Part 2. He may achieve his romance with Elincia should he get an A support with her.
Brom (チャップ, Chappu?) is a farmer living in Crimea's countryside. He is the father of many sons and daughters, one of which is Meg. His class is Great Dux
Naesala (ネサラ, Nesara?) is the King of Kilvas. In the war between Begnion and the Laguz, he betrays the Laguz. Later he returns and works for Sanaki. A previous King of Kilvas signed a blood contract with Begnion, which forced Naesala to make his betrayal. If he and Leanne reach an A support they will marry. He has a blood contract with Lekain but switch with Sanaki when fighting Lekain so he obeys Empress Sanaki.
Bastian (ユリシーズ, Yurishīzu?) is a Crimean noble loyal to Elincia. He hatches a plan to draw out the rebellion. His class is Archsage.
Duke Oliver (オリヴァー, Orivā?) Tanas, despite being supposedly killed in the previous game, returns. His class is Saint. Surprisingly, he can actually be recruited, with the help of the Heron Rafiel.
Renning (レニング, Reningu?) was supposedly killed in the fall of Crimea in Path of Radiance, but in fact he survived. He was captured by Daein and became one of Ashnard's "Four Riders", Bertram. After being defeated as Bertram, he was secretly rescued by Bastian. Later Reyson uses the galldr of rebirth to recover his mind. His class is Gold Knight. He is Elincia's uncle.
Nasir (ナーシル, Nāshiru?) is a white dragon and Ena's grandfather. He sides with his King to fight against the heroes, but will join if he survives the battle.
wootness
Sephiran (セフェラン, Seferan?) is the prime minister of Begnion and Duke Persis. He is a major antagonist and was the one who manipulated Ashnard and caused the Crimea-Daein war. His true name is Lehran (エルラン, Eruran?), the Heron who accompanied the Goddess. He wishes to awaken the Goddess so that she may fulfill the 'One thousand year promise' early and purge the world. He may fight on your side after he is beaten, if certain requirements are fulfilled and the game has been beaten at least once. Also, as revealed in Ike's special "memory scene," it was he who sealed Ike's memories about the death of his mother at the hands of Greil. In Sephiran's own memory scene after he is defeated, it is revealed that Sephiran's decision to awaken the Goddess was largely influenced by the Serenes massacre. If certain criteria are fufilled, a scene appears in which Lehran meets with Astartyune 1200 years after the events of Goddess of Dawn. When recruited his class is Chancellor and is a master of all magics. He has a special magic book known as Kuraideredo. He was a former heron but lost it after Altina gave birth to the first branded.

Unmasked by Ike in the final chapter, the Black Knight (漆黒の騎士, Shikkoku no Kishi?), former Rider of Daein, returns. As the Black Knight, he appears in front of Micaiah and helps her liberate Daein and fight the Laguz army. During those points, he is a playable unit. As Zelgius (ゼルギウス, Zerugiusu?), he leads the Begnion Army in their war against the Laguz. He serves Sephiran selflessly, everything he does he does because Sephiran tells him to. He is also a Branded, which he reveals to Sephiran. He can wield lances and swords respectively. It was Sephiran who gave him the blessed armor and the sword. He also seems to have had a terrible past filled with shunning and loneliness. His death wish was to face his teacher, Greil and defeat him if not he would die. He did acheive half of his wish but that was because Greil but the tendons of his sword arm after killing Elena. So he decided to find Ike and fight him. Ike had the pure swordplay of Greil and Ike manages to defeat him yet again.

Altina (オルティナ, Orutina?) was the first Queen of Begnion and one of the Three Heroes. She was a swordfighter who fought with both Ragnell and Alondite. Later she married the Heron Lehran, and thus some of her descendants, like Micaiah, are Branded.
Deghinsea (デギンハンザー, Deginhanzā?) is the King of Goldoa and one of the Three Heroes who defeated the Dark God. He is also known as the Black Dragon King. He had three children- Rajaion, Amrita and Kurthnaga. He fights against you when you reach the guiding tower. He has the special skill Black Wave which raises his allies resistance and speed stat
F'N CRACKER
Duke Lekain (ルカン, Rukan?) Gados. Important member of Begnion's senate. He overthrows Sanaki and rules Begnion through the senate, and was the one behind apostle Misaha's assassination and the Serenes Massacre. He dies once but revives and gets blessed by Ashera.
Astartyune (アスタテューヌ, Asutatyūnu?) is the creator Goddess, who created life on Tellius. The Zunanma, the ancestors of the Beorc and Laguz, loved her, and called her the Goddess of Dawn, because of her orange dawn-colored hair. When the Zunanma divided into Beorc and Laguz and went to war, she tried to stop and thus the Great Flood occurred. She then split up into Ashera and Yune. 1200 years after the events of Goddess of Dawn, she finally returns to Tellius and watches over it as the creator of the world. She is a maiden who created the Zunanma.

holla-ja-fudgin-loo-yuh ike uses his dads rank s axe and the aldonite and the ragnell. wow he can use axes praise the intellegent systems they gave a sword user with 40 skill and axe. they are finally living up to their name.
