Ok, I'm about to go nerd on you guys, so be warned.

This is a list of sword jutsus I made up in my spare time. Feel free to Add any or all to the neutral jutsus list. Ranks and description are included. Or, feel free to edit them in rank or the actual jutsu. If you don't want to use any, that's fine, but I figured I put them down, as I like sharing my creativity.

Sword Style: Orb thrust Jutsu
Rank: A-S (Depending on orb)

First, the ninja prepares an orb-based jutsu (Chidori, Rasengan, etc.) with their free hand. Then, the ninja slides the orb onto the sword, using a small flow of chakra to hold it at the crossguard, and removes his hand. Finally, the ninja charges forward and thrusts with his sword. If nothing goes wrong, the sword slides through the target and, on contact, the orb-based jutsu runs its course. However, if the sword is stopped, the ninja can use chakra to push the jutsu up the blade into the target. Note: When stated in battle, “Orb” in the name of the jutsu is replaced with the orb-based jutsu’s name (ex. Chidori thrust jutsu)

Sword Style: Orb thrust Jutsu – Double
Rank: S
A variation of the Orb thrust Jutsu in which the ninja first summons two sword clones, then two orb-based jutsus. The sword clones each slide through an orb, and then the ninja grabs them. At this point, the clones become inanimate objects. From this point on, its exactly like the basic sword thrust jutsu, only there are two swords and two orbs instead of just one.

Sword Style: Wave Sword Jutsu

One of the most basic jutsu available to a user of the sword style. This jutsu uses chakra to invisibly extend the reach and width of the sword tenfold. Easily dodged, but devastating if it hits. When the elemental sword jutsu is active, the wave becomes visible… because it’s coated in the element.

An improved version of the wave sword jutsu. This version is sharp enough to cut through solid rock, thus making it far more devastating than its predecessor

Sword Style: Blade Rush Jutsu

A good old fashioned “simple yet effective” jutsu. The ninja’s speed is greatly increased, and when the jutsu is used, they seem to be a blurry streak, moving right through the target to his opposite side. Then, delayed reaction – slashes appear all around the ninja’s path in rapid succession (think machine gun). Note: For those of you who have played it, this jutsu was inspired by Vergil’s rush attack in DMC3 where he says “Die” and then kinda fades out until he’s behind you, and then a bunch of slashes follow.

Sword Style: Sword Clone Jutsu

This jutsu is used to summon a number of floating swords that act as animate objects, and are controlled by the ninja who made them. They are dispelled when they’re hilt is hit or when they’re parried (with a few exceptions).

Sword Style: Blade Rotation
Rank: C

A jutsu inspired by the Hyuuga clan’s Rotation technique. The jutsu is the same as palms rotation, except for two things, number 1: it has the same radius as the user plus the sword, number 2: it is just as sharp as the ninja’s blade and can cut through anything the sword could, including an attacking enemy. Note: If elemental Sword Jutsu is active, the Rotation is one big half-sphere of the user’s element.

A variation of the Blade Rotation that adds in the Wave Sword’s tenfold range and width aspect.

Sword Style: Elemental Sword Jutsu

This jutsu allows the ninja to coat their sword with their chakra element. However, when being used, elemental is replaced with the element (ex. Wind Sword Jutsu)

I like the guilds and stuff, but I don't really get the appeal to playing some boring game in order to make a cool looking avatar. I get the system, I just don't really spend too much time developing my avi.

That's a good idea, Prosus and I were thinking of doing that, too. And we could turn it into another upcomming subforum. sweatdrop But it would be hard for every user to copy/paste their profile and delete it. surprised

If we get other members to do it, it will weed out the inactives also.

That's true, too. Anybody who cares enough about the guild to post will definitely move their profile. 3nodding

P.S. Prosus, you are now the RaiKage! whee Do whatever you want with that village. Read the '' Being a Kage '' part of the guild FAQ. But now that the Mission Battle System is in, (see Misc. Places subforum) you don't have to play enemies in village missions.
