Jae Sung I seriously don't know why some of you defend cosplayers, they're all retarded in my opinion. Well, some people have rather strange interests. Well, liking anime isn't but dressing up as a fantasy character that is much more lean, muscular, attractive and ... cool ( or hot ... ) than them, maybe a bit more weird. But when you think of it, there is the saying that ' imitation often occurs after admiration.' ( Although I have actually seen guys dressing up as female anime characters, I think that is a separate case by itself ... ) They are dressing up because they are fantasist like dreaming about something ... and dressing up to role play. ( the same way kids act like ninjas and roleplayers talking about elves and mages. ) But if they know the difference between reality and fantasy ( and not running around claiming that they can shoot fireballs and fly ... ), why bother. ( unless you lacked a childhood and have a rigid mind that can't fathom dreams and fantasies ... ) Anyway, some cosplay projects are much more weirder and larger in scale than the usual fairy princess and ninja swordsman thingy. Imagine a +100 people dressing up a bunch of land rovers as tanks and installing speakers on them ... ( It takes around 3 to 5 people to lift up and fit the turret on top ... )

DarklingGlory machineman9v1 bondage bunnie No you guys are all talking about how posing with weapons is stupid, but there are some nice photos on the interweb with Super hot naked girls drenched in blood holding sexy weapons.Ok so maybe there are som stupid pictures out there but hell i'll take the naked woman with a sword over a naked woman any day. no, thats just sick and disguisting covering yourself in blood for a photo shoot but yeh, im white, i havent had any weapon training as such, but i still know the essentials on how to hold and use some weapons. i still know that that guy holding the masamune should widen his grip to allow for more leverage and also keep a nice balanced stance... but hey, in a fight with someone who does know how to use the weapon, i wouldnt get many kills in. i could get a few from some weapon practise, though probably get my a** kicked at times I'm not sure if that is supposed to be funny, but god damn it made me laugh long and hard lol rofl no.. it wasnt *gives wierd look* its to say that people can use weapons if they dont know from training how, but that the best ones will have had training. please read it again

Kali can pretty much improvise for alot of weapons, and I only get weapons I can handle using that art. So it's not like i'm pretending to train when I don't.

duskydawn A guy I know turned up to fencing class once with a Masamune replica he'd bought on Ebay. He swung it. It hit someone else's sword. Bye-bye, 4 feet of the blade... So... if he had no interest in fencing, why would he waste everyones time by showing up? sounds pretty useless to me. (I am not defending fencing, I am condemning anyone who practices something they dont like.)
