He frowned. "Roar?" Carlisle took a deep breath and made an attempt to lower his voice to Harper's 'manly' level, but it didn't quite work out. With a whoosh, he sat on top of the slide and dangled his feet over the edge. "I try, 'kay? Roar." He took another deep breath.
She closed her eyes, then smiled. "I think I'd like your world, though. It sounds like... fun." At least they could do magic there? Lixxie mused over that problem. "Chaos. Sounds like a lot of fun."

Harper blinked a few times, shrugging eventually. "Well, I'm sure that's pretty fiercesome for a baby. All the other little squirts are quivering in their diapers!" He stood up, and propelled himself off the landing using one of the bars, showing off his balance prowess. "Do you like ice cream?!"
Sunny sighed, cocking his head off to one side, "The only time it was fun is when they told us to leave. There are many more things about my world that are stranger than that - the music isn't even the half of it. The children were supposed to lead the world, rule it, children.." He looked back at Harper and gave a sigh, "They aren't children at all. It's cold. Coddled, but controlled. Empty, despite everything else trying to be beautiful." There was a song they played that had one of those lines, Sunny found himself grateful this wasn't one of his avid fans who'd of instantly picked that up and thrown it back in his face. At least that explained the mock attempt at poetic lymrics he was spouting; but Sunny was truly like that, probably why he usually didn't dare open his mouth for fear of being ridiculed (and, usually, rightly so.)

"Ice cream?" Carlisle swung his feet over the edge of the slide. "Dunno." He'd never had it that he was aware. Italian ice, yeah, he liked the cherry flavor. But ice cream? Never had that. He settled his chin on the side bar of the slide and pouted.
She crossed her ankles. It sounded like what her life would have been like if she'd never been forced to leave home. "Sometimes a controlled environment can be beautiful," Lixxie said carefully, thinking of the vast rooms of her father's house. "But I think... chaos is prettier. More natural, you know? Like... I'd prefer a field of wildflowers to a carefully organized and planned out and planted garden."

"Really?" Harper furrowed his eyebrows. "That's just wrong." He decided, moving to pick Carlisle up. "I'ma go try and fix that for you litle dude. No, no, you don't owe me anything - well, not yet, but still!" He said, while attempting to bring Carlisle over to the parentals.
Sunny shook his head. "Nothing works. Chaos might be pretty but it's too... chaotic? People get run over. Nothing is in control and bad things happen. Structure is just the same, with structure comes leaders who can take advantage of everything." He began to realize he, or they, very well sounded like they were speaking an alien language to anyone in passing, and gave an abrupt sigh.

He went willingly enough. This guy had, like, invented going on the big slide. If Harper liked ice cream... the Carlisle would like ice cream too!
Lixxie sighed, but for a completely different reason. Everything was corrupted by something, which was really very sad. "Hey," she said as the children approached. "Something up, dears?"

"Ice cream, woman, you've never given your kid ice cream!"
"You know-" Sunny interrupted, looking down and scratching the back of his head, "Some parents chose not to give their children things that may become a sort of 'food addiction' later on and-"
"Shut UP Sunny!"
"Alright, dude, that's it." Sunny said, standing up and crossing his arms. Harper looked up at the older man and moaned loudly, moving to hand Lixxie her baby, unhappily knowing what was coming next.
"Just get the poor kid some ice cream, alright?" Harper said, giving the woman a very tragic face.
"It was a pleasure, truly." Sunny said, holding out his hand to the other guardian. "It's simply getting too hot out here, though, and this one has fainted before in weather like this... Perhaps we will see each other again?" He suggested.

Lixxie raised her eyebrows and settled Carlisle on her hip. Suddenly very drowsy, the child settled his head on her shoulder and smiled sleepily at Harper. "I'll take that into consideration, once he's had his nap," she said serenely, perhaps even sweetly. "Of course." She shook Sunny's hand and smiled at him. "I hope we will. We had a nice conversation."
"Bye, Haaaa-rper," Carlisle sighed, closing his eyes.
