"...Upstairs?" Violet eyed the direction Absinthe was pointing. She started to wonder why she had come at all, into this deeply social situation... "Oh... kay?" she squeaked, doubting that she was going to have a choice in the matter.

Absinthe was first to lead the stairs, they were high lots of steps harbored along the wall. But steps are a lot more trendy than an elevator. "How about a race?" He asked, he was big into competition. He paused when his foot reached the third step. "Come on, love!" He said, to no one in particular.

Lea followed along, right behind Absinthe, to the stairs. "A race?" she asked, tilting her head sideways to show confusion. "Oh...kay!" She smiled and darted up the stairs with Absy, assuming that "love" meant her, that being what he'd called her before and... well, yeah.

Ansel followed after Lea, not exactly at race speed. He figured Violet would be taking her time, and wanted to make sure she wasn't left behind. She was, after all, the one who was most in need of a fashion makeover.

Violet tried not to look obviously terrified at Absinthe's suggestion. Gripping her ponytail, she shuffled meekly after Ansel. Maybe if she was quiet and tiny enough no one would notice that she was pretty much as far from 'racing' as you can get.

He smiled, happy that atleast some of his guests liked a good race. Maybe they'd like a good party too. He made a mental note of this.
Glad that Lea seemed to be competitive also, He began skipping the steps two by two. The stairs are high-up, and there is no rail to grab onto but that didn't seem to hinder him.
Under each foot a little light came on, giving the appearance that the stair case was changing colors under your shoes. He laughed. Absinthe liked these guys--He'd keep 'em.

Lea grinned and dashed up the stairs, a step or two behind Absinthe. She was... well, a little bit dissapointed that they hadn't gotten to listen to any music. But it was alright, they were just here for a short visit. Maybe if ...or when... she went to Absinthe's planet again, then they could listen to music! Yeah, that'd be fun! He had a nice house, too.
As Absinthe started skipping steps, Lea did so as well. Hey, the stairs were lighting up! A little light came on each time one of her bare feet touched a stair, and she giggled. These steps were like... like walking by the beach! You left a footprint, and then once you'd gone a bit more the waves came and washed it away. Kind of like the way the little lights faded out once you'd gone some more steps...
She was interrupted from these thoughts by the realization that she'd neared the top of the stairs. Lea brightened and looked around, searching to see if Absinthe had already got to the top or not.

Ansel nudged Violet with his elbow, "C'mon, they're already at the top. You've got to hurry up or we'll get left behind."

Violet squeaked as Ansel nudged her. "Okay..." she said, distracted by the nerve-wracking steps. Why were they doing that? She quickened up, flinching at every light.

He had barely gotten to the top of the stairs. It was really close, but in his world, he had the upper hand. With a smile from ear to ear, he introduced them to his wardrobe.
The clothes layed everywhere, covering every piece of furniture, even the cieling had several overturned clothes on it! The closet itself was packed with brightly colored clothing of the rainbow.
"Welcome!" he said proudly to Lea.

Lea gasped as she reached the top of the stairs, almost at the same time as Absinthe but not quite. Clothes were... everywhere! They were kept in a vastly different way that hers were, so she couldn't tell whose collection was greater. "Wow, this is... awesome! It's like a palace!" she said excitedly, twirling around to get a good look at everything. "Is this like your bedroom, or is it just... a big closet-room?" Lea's closets (in the plural) all extended off of her bedroom, so her bedroom could often be found with bits of clothing littering the floor, but nothing like Absy's was.

Ansel thought about how loooong this was taking. And they still hadn't even hit up his planet yet. But he didn't mind so much since he got to look at all the lovely clothes scattered about. =D

"It's a place, where I sometimes close my eyes for a couple of hours." He told lea. Not really answering her question.
"So yeesss. I have clothes." He announced the obvious. "Try on anything you like." He smiled from ear to ear.
He tugged gently on Lea's arm. "I know the perfect thing for you~!" He said eagerly.

Violet slowly crept after Ansel. She nervously eyed all the clothes. Anything you like...? She didn't see much that wasn't bright, cheerful, and varied.
...Violet wasn't much for variation. She fiddled with her ponytail as she considered if she was brave enough for Absinthe's clothing.

Hmm.. he noticed that Violet was having some trouble finding the right clothes. Looking to the ground, he found a pair of bright yellow fishnet stockings. It's not that he wore them, they were just left here after a party. They seemed relatively clean. He tossed them to Violet. "That should be a good start!"
