FF XIII even at 13% is still overhyped and even GTA4 now.
Really? I feel like I am the only person who ever even brings that game up. Also, it's not really at 13%. They said that as a joke. Those silly Japanese...

Actually, I guess the hype train hasn't really started up yet, because any way you look at it, this game isn't coming until at least 2009...
It shouldn't matter. If FF was truly overhyped, there should have been "OMFG11111 A NEW FF GYAME1111 HAX1111" as soon as it was announced.
I'm going back to my original statment, FF as a series is not overhyped. Certain games within the series are however, given far too much credit.
Hey, maybe people are finally starting to move on and realizing there are other competent RPGs out there besides FF, like Mass Effect and White Knight Story and Eternal Sonata and Square's own Last Remnant.
