i dont think that digimon was really a copy of pokemon..... the storylines were different.....
pokemon was catching other pokemon and making friends and beating up team rocket and occasionnaly saving the world.
digimon they went to a whole different world to save it. they only had one partner and they may have digivolved they did dedigivolve.
i only like digimon adventures (season 1-2)
the other ones were ok i guess but i guess im the type of person who hates it when series become completely different and you dont see the old characters at all again.

I used to love Digimon. It was a rip off of Pokemon, but Digimon had the 'born from egg thing' long before Pokemon did.
I watched the 1st, 2ed, 3rd seasons.
I liked the 3rd season best. I like Terriormon(sp?) the best out of all the Digimon. And As for humans I like Kori(1st season), Rika(sp?) (3rd season) and Ken (2ed season).
I have the movie and a book with all the Digimon from the 1st season.
And one of the games as well as a guide book to the game.

And comparing the two is like comparing Hello Kitty with Outlaw Stars just because both have 'catgirls.' Or comparing Naruto to La Blue Girl. Hey, maybe Naruto's a ripoff of La Blue Girl, they both have ninja that suck. wink

Okay, last night, I ate dinner like any other normal, non- anoresic person, right? So, I switch to Toon disney to watch Data Squad, and after, I felt like my eyes melted. It wa the worst thing since cybertron!!! They compeltley ripped it off. Ugh!

Pokemon vs. Digimon wars are a decade old. And never were a contest. And fortunately, to show which side's on the winning, it's always Pokemon fans who go shouting in caps of fury. rolleyes
It's clear by now, with the "brand new" season of Pokemon, that the winner was decided before the war even started. It's just She-Ash being a ******** n00b about Pokemon and doing the same lame things Ash did in the first season. Wow, original.
While I do like the RPG Pokemon, the anime series hasn't been original since episode 120 or so... And it's nearing the thousand episodes (even Dragon Ball got the job done with less than half the episodes...)

Love digimon! 4laugh It was on of the first anime I've ever seen. That and pokemon. I haven't seen it in so long...The first two seasons were the good ones. rolleyes The rest suck.

Pokemon needs a new star
from the kanto to Johto was all ash
Kanto was fine
But Johto was boring
Then May came in and boasted up the pokemon ranking and that reigoin was most popular
but the Hoenn was kind of long
The Froters pretty good
some old but yet new
then Sinnoh dropped
when Dawn came in
Popularity for Pokemon is
1st Place-Hoenn
2nd Place-Sinnoh
Third-Kanto
Digimon is a very different yet the same
different ppl, same story
Frotier was something totally different which i like
and 1st season not bad
2nd not so good
3rd not bad
5 suck!
