Kibo assumed she meant both, and continued as if nothing was said at all.
Kibo: Everyone who's anyone in these waters uses some sort of magic. The Demon Commander, The Red Princess, the Dark Dagger, and all those other infamous people.
He didn't tell her that those people were, in fact, all people of his own acquaintance: "The Demon Commander" being himself, "The Red Princess," Natasha, and "The Dark Dagger" being Storm.

Storm raised an eyebrow, guessing at just who were the so called 'infamous' people were.
"You forgot about Ranu Blackheart, captain of the Dagger, now. He has a pair magicked swords. Among a few other, choice items."

"No names yet, just rumors. That Blackheart's heart isn't as black as his namesake's. That he's one for mercy and his raids tend to be less tramatizing then say the Red Princess and her notourious Phantom or the Demon Commander and his pride and joy Godspeed."
She laughed.
"They don't even bother comapring Blackheart with the Dark Dagger, as she is so quaintly called now. The difference between the two would be like comparing night and day, with Red Princess and Demon Commander as twilight and predawn."

Sorin rolled his eyes and folded his arms. "I'll 'ave no blood spilled on me ship, sir," he said, then stuffed his hands into his pockets. "If ye need to figh', the dock is mighty welcomin'," he finished, glaring at the both of them.

Kibo chuckles, spinning and resheathing his blades.
Kibo: I was kidding, Sorin. Despite all my big talk, I'm fully against taking a life, regardless of the fact that I can just raise 'em right back up. But is that a challenge?
His eyes widen in excitement, and a grin crosses his face.

Kibo: Nope. I've only taken a life out of necessity, or to prove a point. Those little "slips" were done while other spirits were using my body. Like these guys, for instance.
He runs his hand down his right arm.

Kibo: One necessity of having a "life" is to have a soul. Animals are run completely on instinct, not a soul. Not in my opinion, anyway.
