Evil Little Flayer Just Naota The stages change every round. We probably won't be using the arena again until the finals. Did you read past GTBs? And not even like all of it. Just like one from another round that isn't the 1st one. The 1st will usually be a plain arena with stands and s**t, and every stage after would be entirely different until the finals.

Last year's second round seemed to be in the stadium, but it was storming for all the matches.

Old Man KB So Link didn't just upgrade from Hylian to Mirror? Or was it from Deku to Hylian? Some a*****e in the first round used psionics to put a big a** dent in the shield. This cracked the interior wood. Then Fierach, the d**k that he was in the second round, tried to pull on Link's shield. The weakened wood fractured and Fierach winded up pulling the metal casing from the bolts of the strap and handle. So, after I Link finished whipping his a**, I sent the shield to Vintrict who replaced both the wood and steel with heavier and thicker stuff. So no, no Mirror Shield. Maybe next year.

And @Flayer: well, remember just because Drejak can't destroy or make a dent into the marble floor, doesn't mean your opponent can. If they've got some destructive onslaught going, try to use that to your advantage. It could turn the fight around.
The weather has a trillion different uses. If it were to be raining for example, Omi would laugh his opponent into the funny papers.
The marble however, here's a funny thing I could've exploited and didn't: if you set marble ablaze, it converts to quicklime. It doesn't need to reach its melting temperature to become considerably more brittle.

Mundane weapon purchasing/acquisition still ok if approved via judge?
Shame on me, because no, I did not read previous GTB's.
I had thought about trying to get my opponent to break the floor open for me, lol. It just, was unneccessary in my first-round fight.
I hope that won't be an issue too many times after this round.
