Streamjumper Just going on what I heard in several places. Can't remember exactly where, but I think one was Penny Arcade, and they generally get their facts at least in the ballpark. The majority of reports I've heard is that the DS is still beating the PSP, and by the sales I saw in December I'm going to side with the reports I heard. hilaroma I don't agree with that though. What I meant was...who cares if someone reads what is here? It doesn't matter. Just relax and say what you want to say. Exactly, it's their opinion, and if we don't care for them, we can just ignore it.

Streamjumper Early releases said it was a gameboy spinoff. I've heard nothing saying that it was clearly not included as a gameboy. Also, common parlance holds that nintendo handhelds = gameboys in the same sense that paper tissues are kleenex. ******** me in the ear with an icepick for using a common parlance usage. One would figure that the mention of it being a side project would make clear my understanding that it is not intended to be the next true step in the gameboy chain. Clearly marketing decisions made late in production make a moron of me. Clearly I should also follow steps taken after the point where I decide that I don't want to buy a new system from the same company. Forgive me? Adding to the DS vs. Gameboy argument. Satoru Iwata, the president of Nintendo, said during E3 2004 that the DS is not a Gameboy or a Gameboy spinoff, no matter what others have said it came from the president himself. I realize that people will often use the name "Gameboy" to specify any Nintendo handheld but the fact of the matter is that the DS is not a new Gameboy or a Gameboy spinoff. Forgive me for jumping the gun when it comes to that but it's a little pet peeve I have when people refer to the DS as a Gameboy, whether or not they know it isn't.
