“By the way my duplex is number 60, if you want to hang out some time do not hesitate to come by." he smiled as he waved and left. He heard the cuss under Tommy's breath, but in his mind he still wanted to believe he was exempted form this experiment and that once he caught up with his sister all would be made clear.

New RP

Cody was facing a dilema. Up until now it had been easy to deal with the dolphin instincts. They usually only acted up when he was inside the water, getting him to swim dolphin style and regulate the breathing. And the other ones had go unnoticed by the young boy, since his knowlege of his own human nature was still being constructed
But this urge was something he was pretty sure it wasn't normal. Right now he was staring at the different types of food and couldn't decide what to pick, cooked fish or raw fish
The raw fish seemed tastier, but the human notion of only eating cooked meat kept saying it was wrong to pick that, even if the insticts said otherwise

To Cody this was confusing. Why did he felt like eating raw fish? It looked yucky but at the same time so tasty! He just couldn't understand

After a short Game of pool with his new friend Liamh, Gallen had finally found his way to the Lunch room again. As he entered the wonderful smell of food wafted into his nostrils and made his tummy growl even more. As he approached the Buffet bar like set up he saw a familiar sight, the little dolphin boy who he first met 5 days back. He stopped and watched the little boy for a while, the boys tail swooshing in thought as it seemed Cody was trying to decide between cooked and raw fish.

“hey squirt, you know in Asia, specially Japan they eat fish raw. They even eat cats and dogs.” A wicked grin came over Gall’s face. Then he stopped for a second…you idiot your suppose to apologies to eth kid not torment him more….

Cody was completely caught by surprise when Gallen talked to him. He almost jumped in the air when he turned around to see who it was. Oh great, the slug!

"I didn't asked your opinion!"

He turned back to the buffet and picked the cooked fish. He knew why Gallen acted like an idiot, but he still haven't forgave him for calling him a liar. And he was not giving him the satisfaction of following his advice on raw fish
He grabbed the tray and sat the furthest he could from Gallen

Gallen sighed and went to the buffet to get some food. I too had the odd craving again for fish. But also the craving for leafy greens. I gathered up what he wanted to eat and then took a separate plate and set some raw fish on it, and soon made his way toward where Cody was sitting. He had to make up to this kid, or he would feel bad about there first encounter for a long time.

“So kid this seat taken,” before Cody could answer Gallen sat. “You know I am sorry about the other day, I did not mean to make you fell like I thought you where a liar, it is just…well I still have trouble excepting this whole deal with the island.” He removed his plates and set them up in front of him so he could eat. He smiled as he took a drink of milk he had poured in a cup.

Cody shifted in his seat as he tried to move away from Gallen without getting up. He didn't look at him when he spoke, pretending to be paying attention to his food

"Well you have and I'm still mad at you" he said between mouthfuls. What was so hard to believe? People were getting turned into animal-people, it was as simple as that. Having trouble with the how, now that was acceptable, but to Cody that had little meaning. Not like he could understand anyway

Gallen watched the boy carefully, “you know it is rude to talk with your mouth full. My sister would have slug ya if she caught you doing that at our dinner table back home.” He sighed as he started to eat the grilled tuna he had. “You can be mad, I was rude, but realize not everyone in the world is accustom to the idea of things changing from one species to another. It does go against basic nature, though scifi films like to play with the idea, or ghost stories with werewolves.” He sat there eating and watching Cody, it was amazing and disturbing the changes this boy must have gone through, webbed hands and almost no ears. And that tail, plus the feet….”How do you manage to walk with those feet, sides probably be a good idea to wear shoes.”

Cody returned a gaze that could pierce a rock. This guy was being a jerk to point out stuff like that

"It was nearly empty. And this looks too real to be fake" he moved his tail up and down as a demonstration

He ate another piece of fish before replying. It wasn't easy to hold the fork steady with the webbing in the way

"I put one feet on front of the other, like everyone else. And I can't wear shoes anymore"

Gallen raised an eyebrow…”you can’t? That sucks. And yes I know your tail is real, I met a few others here that are like you. They all claimed I am going to change soon too. I doubt it, cause my sister works for the labs, why would she invite me here to have me changed.” Gallen ignored Cody’s stone piercing stare. “so what are you into Cody? I see you like swimming.”
PostPosted: Mon Oct 09, 2006 12:56 pm

"No, I can't! I need the shoelaces to hold the shorts up!!" and actually his feet dance inside the shoes, even when he used the socks to fill the empty space. Not to mention it felt awkward walking like that

"So you liked the imaginary friends, uh?" Cody couldn't help to rub that on. Anything to prove he was right and Gallen was wrong. Childish, but he was still a kid

But at the mention of having his sister here he couldn't help showing some interest, completely ignoring the next question
"Really? Did you talked with her about this?"

Gallen ignored teh comment about imaginary friends, though he would later find a way to pay the kid back for being a brat. Then when he asked about his sister Gallen looked away, “no, I can not seem to get in contact with anyone in eth labs right now. And I found out that she does not live where I thought she lived….” He went silent and tried to eat
PostPosted: Mon Oct 09, 2006 1:11 pm

"You tried to use the intercom? They anwsered me right away last time I tried. And where does she live then?"

He noticed how hard Gallen's expression became and decided not to tease over it. He would feel bad too if someone asked about his family

Gallen sighed, “ I do not know why they did not answer. And no I do not know where she is…she may not be here…..but I will not believe it. Sides squirt I think you might rather like this.” Gallen pushed over the plate of raw salmon to Cody. “Growing dolphins should eat healthy. He smiled as he used this to change eth subject away form his sister and the issues with the island. He sighed though eh wanted to forget about the island, he had to know, had to know what the process was that caused the change and when the first stages would start. He had to know if there was even a chances in hell he could avoid getting the shots, at least long enough to get a distress call off the island and get help. “So what is the thing they use to change you, and when does it start to happen?”
PostPosted: Mon Oct 09, 2006 1:24 pm

Cody was about to reply about Gallen's sister, when he was suddeny interrupted by the tasty looking piece of salmon on front of him. But he was going to give that satisfaction

"No way!" he pushed the plate away from him and retrned to his own, so Gallen wouldn't have a chance to put that thing in front of his nose again
But he stoped when he was asked about the changes

"They gave me a shot and I don't know when it starts. I don't count the days, but they said it's different between people anyway"

“A shot, “Gallen pulled up his shirt sleeve and rubbed where Sabin had injected him. “They said it was a vaccine at first right?” He watched the boy push the plate back, he sighed as he looked at his food. “So how long since you where human? I met a guy who was a deer man who said it had been a year since he was human.”
