Ya know, the only threads that are getting any number posts here lately are this one, and the exhibition arena. The infirmary is moving slower than frozen silly putty and I think that posting in the GTB expo might be a waste of time (*cough*Rhoslyn check your booth*cough*). I guess everybody is just waiting for the judging results...

ALSO: I'm getting sort of bored of playing Ross and his ******** THE RULES I'M HIGH AND RICH, so are there any, say, evil, organizations looking for an Unseelie who actually acts like one?

I just have a couple of things I want to say about the judging.
First of all. None of us competitors are in the moderators forum. So we don't know who has done what. We have no idea. All we have to go on is one person saying "Well I'm finished" and no one else saying they have. It is quite possible that some people perfer to do their judging in word documents and then paste the judgements into the thread after they have finished.
Secondly, it's great Rhos has finished and has graded the way he has. But that doesn't mean he is a ruler to measure the other judges against. The reason we have different judges is because we're looking for varied judgements. It's a pretty simple concept, go tune into American Idol and see if those three bastards all judge exactly the same.
I really don't think any of us have any right to complain. Why? Because without the judges, this tournament wouldn't be happening at all.
With out the participants this wouldn't be happening either. And maybe it's not entirely to blame on some of the judges since things seem to be really disorganized. But even if somebody likes doing everything in Word, they should still be communicating with each other so that other judges aren't thinking it's likely that an extension is going to be necessary. I mean, Rhos has for like the past two days went on about how it seemed like the other judges had little to nothing done. And if there are some who haven't done anything and are expected to now all of a sudden, what's the point of even having them? Because if that's the case, I doubt they're going to finish their work load for tomorrow.

Let me point out that a tournament event will always have more people lined up to be participants than judges. ALWAYS. Why? Because roleplaying is fun and judging is work.
No offense to Rhos, but he should have kept his comments regarding judging confined to the moderators forum, because by bringing it out here it's caused people to start making snide comments about the work ethic of the other judges and that is frankly, very rude.
Lolli if you want to have an argument with me about it, take to PM's. I won't say anything else about it here.

EDIT: Seriously though, Anya's looking for people who support KILLDESTROYBURN. Anyone who is remotely willing to work with her, even if they hate her, she'll work with.
