Reeve laughs mirthlessly, looking her full in the eye. "You act like I did."

"I admit, I'm scared of raising a child. Not to mention I didn't think I'd be right keeping him from you because you're his father." She took a moment to smile down at the child and tickle him once more."I honestly don't know what else to do."

"I'm scared too, as you well know. And...my father was a warrior, just like me. I can take on any enemy you wish, but that little fiend you've got there? I have no idea." He sighs, almost in disbelief of what he's about to say. "Just don't leave."

Aven stares at Reeve unsure of what to do or say now. She trembles as she holds the child and decides it might be best to put him back in the crib for the moment. After she places Dalcon in his crib, she motion Reeve to follow her into her study. Once she was there she took a seat and waited for Reeve to do the same. "Reeve... I-I don't know what I can do to help. I mean," she lets out a sigh. "I just don't know."

Reeve strokes his son's hair again then follows Aven to her study. Choosing to stand, he adopts the classic 'parade rest' stance, hands behind his back. "Anything. Anything you can do is a great help, Aven- look what you've done already. And...and I've missed you, more than I even knew." He grins ruefully. Once upon a time, it would have killed him to admit that.

Aven blushes slightly at his comment, letting out a little cough to try and mask he rose in her cheeks. "This is the least that I could do for a young prince. Last I checked you were royal and therefore your son would be too." She glances at some books she had on her desk and sighed. "I'll help you with whatever I can, however much it may be. Just do me a favor," she looked back at Reeve with a kind of humor in her eye, "Don't let me become over protective or overbearing. If anything, I'll be an aunt."

"An aunt, huh...that might take a little explaining." A brief mental clip flashes through Reeve's mind. All the times she had wrapped her wings around him. 'She's your aunt, Dalcon.' Blasphemy! But who was he to argue with her? She didn't have to stay at all. "Thank you. You can be as protective as you want. I'm afraid I'll be too overbearing, myself...thank you." He looks down, turning a little pink himself. " I am sorry for the inconvenience.."

"It's not really an inconvenience. It's like I've said, he's a little bundle of cuteness. The only problem I would have is figuring out how to help you raise him." She smiled meakly at Reeve and scratched the back of her head. "Oh well, guess it's just another adventure of life."
(( sorry to leave but i've got to be getting to bed now.. ^^; ))

(( That's fine- I do too.))
" Just don't leave...you know, I really don't think it's him who needs looking out for."
He slowly sits down in the chair next to her and nods off, almost instantly. "Guardian Angel..."

Nami quickly put away the scroll she'd been studying, tucking it away safely in a drawer. Glancing about her cramped room, she sighed, swung her legs out over the edge of the bed and onto the floor.
Heading out into the main room, she searched Clow's signature and found him in the kitchen. Pushing the door open, she smiled softly, finding him asleep at the table.
Quietly as possible, she went about making some mint tea, and toast. Setting them out on the table, she leaned over Clow and pressed a kiss to his forehead. "Wake up sweetie." She said quietly.

Clow's eyes slowly fluttered open, with blurry vision. He remembered where he slept, and then took his feet down, and sitting on all four legs of the chair now. With a small smile, he rubbed his eyes while leaning forward, and looked up at who had woke him up and smiled even wider.
"Morning."

Nami grinned. "There's such thing as a bed you know, I was in your bed the past few nights and you never came." She pouted, dropping down onto his lap and reaching for a mug of tea.

Clow sighed, and looked away for a second, and then back to her.
"I'm sorry sweetie...I've been doing paperwork. You want a bedroom that we can share don't you?"

"Yeah." She replied, grabbing both mugs from the table, turning so that could face him. She pressed the warm mug into his hand.
