People who bash sci-fi fail to understand that fantasy and sci-fi are both speculative fiction.

I'm asking in the JUDGE thread if I can just go ahead and release my judging on Friday regardless of what's done. If I were fighting I'd rather have some idea of how I did on the due date than a big fat nothing and delays.

One of the best sci fi role plays Kenji was in was when he was masquerading as a Storm Trooper. I think that was one of the one's Peppa was in. Not completely sure though.
Space ship battles are fun too, even if the only ones I've ever role played were done with Gummi Ships in the KH universe.

My character would be an anachronism in a sci-fi roleplay. Smokeless-powder ballistic weapons, internal combustion piston engines with wheels, and simplistic booby traps and backyard explosives would probably mark a very primitive person stuck in the past.

Fun only comes with rolls of the dice. It takes the pride out of the roleplay equation.
