"Something... is going... to happen to you?" Sammy asked, confused. "Like what?" she questioned, hoping that he wasn't going to mention the worst.

"I don't know. I don't know what's going to happen to myself, but whatever it is will affect Dark greatly."
Bangira says, hoping it made sense.
"I can't tell if it'll be good or bad."

Sammy seemed confused, scratching her head. "Uhh... What was the memory, exactly?" she asked, just trying to understand more.

Sammy seemed confused, scratching her head. "Uhh... What was the memory, exactly?" she asked, just trying to understand more.

"There's me... to my left is me, Bangira and in front of me is some... girl dressed in blue... All I remember are the colours blue and red..." He scratches his head.
"That's all I remember."

Sammy tried to think of anyone that could be. "Hmmm... Maybe... a magma person?" she asked, reffering to the red. "Do you know if you were fighting, or just talking or...anything?"

Berg had not heard anything but mumbling from the two near him due to his intense focus upon his invention. All that was left was to take the microchip with all the programming from the TADS and put it in the Scouter.

He tried it on and switched on the power. The small screen appeared before his left eye and flipped through pages, as it was now thought activated.

"Be back later guys. Going on a mission!" Berg yelled as he ran into the teleporter.

"I don't know... Maybe the memory will get more vivid when we draw closer to that time." Bangira sighs, giving up. He was doing his best but he couldn't remember anything after that.

Around Blackthorn...

"Okay Blade, take the Iron Ball. We'll show this Gligar whose boss."
"What good will this do me?"
"Trust me."
Blade takes the Iron Ball and turns to confront a wild Gligar.
"Blade, use Trick!" Dark shouts.
"I don't know Trick..."
"Just trick Gligar into switching items, talk to it."
".... Alright..." Blade wanders over to the Gligar and begins talking to it. After a minute he then trades Gligar the Iron Ball for an Oran Berry. Gligar then falls to the ground under the weight.
Gligar then uses Fling and throw the Iron Ball into Blade's face.
Blade begins thrashing about.
Blade used Fling.
Dark flies into the Gligar and both are unconscious.

"Bye, Berg!" Sammy called. "I guess all we can do is wait, hmm?" she asked, doing her best to shrug. It looked a little lopsided, though, as she didn't feel like attempting to move her other arm.

Mission: Think Negative!
Any Team Aqua member is asked to catch a Minun.
Typically found only on Route 110, but Mr. Backlot enjoys it when Minun show up in his Trophy Garden.

Pokémon:
Minun

Funds upon completion: 300
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Having already visited Mr. Backlot’s Trophy Garden, Berg decided to try out Route 110 to look for his target, a Minun. After appearing in the Team Aqua transporter located in Slateport City, he started walking North in attempt to find his target. Passing several buildings, he eventually came to a sign that read, “Welcome to Route 110. Home of the Cycling Road.”
Continuing on, a pair of trainers was ahead talking, seemingly waiting for someone to challenge. There was no way around them, so Berg decided that he’d have to go ahead and battle them. He walked forward and was soon seen by the two. A young boy and an older lady approached him requesting a double battle.
“I’ll agree to a battle as long as you each use no more than two Pokémon,” he offered. The two looked at each other and nodded in agreement. The boy was antsy and wasted no time and sent forth an Aron onto the field. The woman sent forth a Minun.
Berg chuckled and wished that he would be able to obtain the Minun to make his mission so much easier. He then pulled from his side a pair of Pokeballs. With one hand, he sent forth Totodile and Croagunk. There was no way he’d let these amateur trainers win. A hand motion later, Totodile was sending a stream of water out at Aron and Croagunk followed of the maneuver with a Mud Slap; his most effective combo of attacks. Aron was simply no match for two very powerful attacks that were also super effective elemental wise and quickly fainted.
Shocked and with a high-pitch voice, the boy screamed, “No! How is that possible?!” Still stupefied, he sent forth his next Pokémon, an Electrike. “Haha! Try to beat an electric Pokémon with your Totodile.”
With confidence his response was simply, “Ok.” This sharp response sent the boy into a rage in which Berg decided to exploit. “Totodile, Rage!” Totodile began to flail wildly in the direction of the Electrike and Minun.
Berg didn’t care whether or not Totodile actually hit one of them because it was nothing but a ploy to take attention away from Croagunk. Electrike started charging up for an attack and quickly sent out a paralyzing attack, causing Totodile’s immediate halt in his rage. The older lady called out for Minun to perform a Quick Attack where the Minun responded with extraordinary speed and slammed into Totodile. As Totodile was sent into the air, Croagunk made his move and his arm took up a purple glow in which was jabbed directly into the side of Electrike.
The young boy whined, “Why are you just attacking me?! It’s not fair!!!” His Electrike whimpered as he had been poisoned and was now feeling the effects. Totodile slowly attempted to rise to his feet and was ready for his next command; Croagunk quickly returned to his side and the two stood ready. The Electrike could probably fight for a good bit longer, but he will still be hindered. Berg decided that he would take out the boy’s Pokémon first, so he’d be able to double team up on the lady’s. Croagunk jumped up for another Mud Slap, but before it could be completed Minun and Electrike had combined their lightning attacks to hit him. While they were still recharging, Totodile charged in and began scratching away at Electrike.
There was no way that Berg was going to lose this one. Minun was still at full health, but if it was alone, it would be easy to take down. The only thing that worried him was Totodile having to dodge electric attacks.
The lady took the opportunity to make daring attacks considering that Minun was uninjured and he began launching quick and weakened, but still effective enough, lightning attacks at Totodile. He was forced to jump around and dodge as many as he could, but his paralysis kicked in and he was made immobile and vulnerable to any attack. A lightning attack was shot in his direction, but Berg decided that it would be more beneficial to launch an attack with Croagunk.
Electrike was smashed with another belt of slaps and sent toward his trainer. The boy withdrew his fainted Pokémon and almost immediately began bawling his eyes out before running off in the direction of Slateport. The lady was now nervous, knowing her Minun would have to take on the both of them. After hitting Totodile with a direct electric attack, she was certain that it would not much more to put him out of the battle. She sent out for a Quick Attack towards him, but routed and hit by a poisonous jab from Croagunk. Lucky for her, Minun was not poisoned; she continued to try for a direct attack before being forced to give up on that approach; the two of them had a defensive wall unable to be breached by a Pokémon of Minun’s size. Her eyes grew; she had a plan.
Minun began charging towards Totodile once more and as before was routed by Croagunk, but this time she aimed a very weak Spark attack to catch him off guard. Croagunk was shocked just enough to cancel his attack and Minun proceeded towards his target. Nearing Totodile, the lady was sure that her attack would connect, unfortunately enough, a stream of water was launched at close range and Minun was sent into a nearby tree. The lady withdrew her Minun and announced her surrender, “There is no use in having my other Pokémon injured. Good battle.”
Berg nodded, “That was an impressive little maneuver that you tried to pull off at the end; I might have to use that some time.” The lady walked off to the Cycling Road and Berg decided to withdraw his Pokémon and head for the Pokecenter back in Slateport before continuing his mission.
After healing up, the trainer returned to his previous spot and noticed something moving a patch of grass nearby. Upon examining it, he was surprised to see a Minun nibbling on an Oran Berry. The little one noticed Berg approach and ran around in a circle and did a backflip.
He laughed to himself, “Cute little guy.” The Minun gave him a death glare. “Oh, I’m sorry. I mean ‘cute little girl’,” he quickly edited. She became happy once more and jumped onto his shoulder and finished up the last of her berry. Berg took out his newest Pokeball and released Plusle. Plusle quickly noticed what was perched upon his trainer’s shoulder and went bonkers; love at first sight it seemed. Minun blushed at the sight of Berg’s Plusle and jumped down to meet him.
“Plu. Plu.”
“Minun. Min. Min.”
“Pluuuu.”
After a small chat Plusle jumped up to Berg and rubbed against his cheek. “So you want her to come with?” he asked with a smile. “How about it Minun? Join us?” Minun looked away at a nearby tree to see another Oran Berry. “So, if I get you that, will you join us?” She nodded.
Berg called forth Totodile and pointed to the berry. A simple Water Gun knocked the berry loose and landed onto the ground. Minun rushed over to it and then back to the large friendly figure. After rummaging through his bag, he found a Pokeball and tapped Minun on top the head with it. She was sucked into the ball and it immediately sounded with a loud, “Ding!”
Berg smiled as he withdrew his Pokémon and began walking back for the teleporter to base.
"I suppose." Bangira responds and notices Sammy's lopsided shrug.
"Are you sure you don't want to get your arm looked at? It's okay to be tough but I mean you're arm could be damaged..."
"And if it is, I'll have it looked at. But there is no evidence that it is, I'd rather just leave it be," she harrumphed. She didn't want to admit it, but she hated X-rays, shots, and anything having to do with the medical career track in general. "Besides, YOU should be worried about your memory, or premonition or... whatever that was," she pointed out.
"Stop confusing me!" she sighed, grading the mission with her TADS. "Hmm... I suppose so... But how do we know that you will remember more of it?" she asked.
"I dunno. I think it's up to Dark now." He says. After all it is Dark's memory.
"There, I caught Gligar, no thanks to you." Dark says to Blade. In one hand is a pokeball, he's rubbing his head with his other hand.
Blade just stares at Dark, looking angry.
Sammy walked over to the coffee table, putting her grade on the mission there.
"I have to admit, this was a tough one to decide on.
First, I'd just like to say good work on making it interesting-- You took the focus of the mission and added on and on, even making an extra battle! That was pretty neat. The biggest problem I had with the battle -though- has to do with speed. Minun would've gotten the move before Totodile and Croagunk, and there are many other times this was so. Also, there were many times that you just said "an electric attack" without specifying which one it was. It's okay as long as you make sure to add effects, though, so I won't count off on that. Other than that, the battle was wonderful and well-detailed. The biggest problem with the mission, of course, is the end... You didn't battle the Minun. Luckily for you, though, the briefing just says "catch" not battle, and there is nothing in the rules that says you can't do that. Still, I wouldn't use that trick too much. Still, congrats on passing. Keep the Minun and the 300 PD.
P.S.- Awww, it's poke-love~~ That's adorable!~ <3
~Sammy"
After placing the note down, she replied to Mr. Bangira. "I guess so. Hope he... or, uh, you.. can figure it out," she chuckled.
